A Makeover for Cass & Veronica, by Vyntage

(Update: Fixed an issue involving headgear on both files. New version in Files section.)

Description
=========================

A friend asked for a copy of the mods I did for Veronica and Cass, so I thought I'd make them available here for whomever is interested. The overall goal was to improve their appearance, while still keeping the essence of their characters. So these mods do not turn them into anime characters, make them look like their voice actors, or something else entirely. (I'm not judging people who like these things, its just not the direction I decided to go.)

Each mod also contains a few non-cosmetic changes. Most notably, they're both essential, and their base clothing is removable. I'd put up non-essential versions, but I figure if you're the sort of person to go through all the trouble of finding a mod to improve their appearance, you wouldn't want them dying.

I put them as separate files so you can use the ones you prefer, and avoid the ones you dont.

I hope you enjoy them. Here's a list of exactly what each file changes:

Veronica
=========================
1. Cosmetic: Overall goal was to make her appearance closer to her cute, smart alec personality. Her hairstyle was changed to something more fun but still practical. She's still a brown eyed brunette.

2. Gear: Her robes/hood are now removable. I was going to swap them visually to something more appropriate, but left them alone for players who wanted them for their own use.

3. Functionality: Made her both 'essential' and fixed her leveling bug.

Rose of Sharon Cassidy
=========================
1. Cosmetic: Overall goal was to make her more attractive, while enhancing the 'irish hard drinking redhead' aspects. So she's a little more flush in the cheeks, her reds have been enhanced, and her eyes are now bright green. She's also been given a much better hairstyle and looks less like Amata.

2. Gear: Loved her base outfit, and wanted to get more milage out of it. So its been given a DT equal to Leather Armor (similar to Veronica's default) and is removable. I removed her cowboy hat, largely due to a problem with Lings that makes her appear bald. She looks much better without it anyway.

3. Functionality: Made her Essential.

Requirements
=========================
Fallout New Vegas

(Note: Ling's requires texture files at Fallout3 nexus to work properly. So be sure to follow the instructions at that link to install them)


Installation
=========================
1. Extract the files from the archive.
2. Copy files to the 'data' folder in your New Vegas game directory.
3. Use 'data files' link on the New Vegas Launcher, and click the checkbox next to the file you wish to use.


Compatibility
=========================
Is unlikely to be compatible with other mods that alter these companions. But shouldn't conflict with mods that do the same function, such as making all companions essential.

Make sure you're not running other hair/eye mods at the same time as Ling's Coiffure. People have reported the game crashing when attempting to do so.

Make sure Ling's works on its own before attempting to use my mod. That will help determine which files might be giving you trouble.
