About this mod

A new weapon using a retextured Ranger Sequoia revolver model, inspired by and based on the Colt 1851 Navy owned by Clint Eastwood\'s character, The Man With No Name, in \"The Good, The Bad and The Ugly\" - Quite possibly the best western in film history.

UPDATE: I've released a .357 retexture to resemble the Colt Peacemaker from For a Few Dollars More and A Fistful of Dollars, due to several requests for the loading gate reload animation. Well, wish granted! You can find it at:

------------------------------------

[OLD NEWS]: There is now an alternate download, marked "V2", which comes with two musical sounds, one for the act of drawing the gun, and one for holstering it. I'm sure that, given the inspiration for the gun itself, you can guess what these sounds are. It is worth noting that it is not intended to be used alongside the original mod; it is a replacement for it. If at any point you grow tired of it, simply replace the V2 .esm file with the V1 .esm.

The story goes like this.
Back in the widespread days of Fallout 3, I made a similar reskin for the .44 Magnum. The biggest problem, however, was that I'm a terrible modeller, and a .44 Magnum just wasn't accurate enough for my liking.
Then, during the pre-release advertising for New Vegas, there was that glorious image of an NCR Veteran Ranger with the Ranger Sequoia. I saw that revolver, and my immediate thoughts were: "PERFECT."

And so, a few weeks after release, here we have it.

A new weapon using a retextured Ranger Sequoia revolver model, inspired by and based on the Colt 1851 Navy owned by Clint Eastwood's character, The Man With No Name, in "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" - Quite possibly the best western in film history.

Stat-wise, it's a little weaker than the Ranger Sequoia- Only a little, mind- and requires 6 Str and 50 Guns to use effectively. It holds six shots (A matter of faithfulness to the original inspiration, despite the Sequoia model only having a five-round chamber) and uses the various .357 ammunitions.
I'm working on the assumption that if you're modding weapons into your game, you're not worrying too much about their power as long as they're not God-Mods.

Perfect for Cowboy/Western roleplay characters and fans of Clint Eastwood.
