Ihr könnt zwar das Fleisch eurer Opfer essen, jedoch nicht ihr Blut trinken. Das hat mich bei Fallout3 schon irgendwie gestört. New Vegas machte aber die Idee aus verschiedenen Gründen schmackhafter!

Wer so denkt wie ich: hier ist eure Chance!

In fact you can eat the flesh of your victims, but not drink their blood yet. I missed that in Fallout 3 a bit, but this idea now makes more sense in New Vegas.

Was macht die Mod? / What is the mod doing?
===========================================

Ab Level 4 (selbe Stufe wie der Kannibalen-Perk) steht euch nun der neue Perk "Blutdurst" zur Verfügung. Er funktioniert genau wie der Kannibalen-Perk. Wenn ihr im schleichen eine Leiche anklickt, könnt ihr dessen Blut trinken. Da ich keine neuen Animation machen kann, benutzt Blutdurst die Selbe wie Kannibalismus.

Nachdem ihr euch über euer erstes Opfer hergemacht habt, startet eine interne Zählung (genau wie beim Kannibalen-Perk). Nach jedem 10ten Opfer werdet ihr benachrichtigt. Beim 50ten erhaltet ihr auch hier eine Erweiterung, mit dem Namen "Blutrausch". Die euch erlaubt, dass Blut eurer Opfer in Plastikbeutel abzufüllen und mitzunehmen.

Die Mod ist selbstverständlich Hardcore-Kompatibel!

Hinweis:

1. Es gibt keine Level 2 Steigerung wie bei Kannibalismus (Abartiger Aasfresser). Ich persönlich bin nicht auf das Blut von Ghulen und Supermutanten scharf sorry ;)

2. Seid ihr im Besitz von beiden genannten Perks und habt sogar beide Erweiterungen dazu, bedenkt das ihr weiterhin nur eine der nun vier angebotenen Optionen wählen könnt:
entweder esst ihr das Fleisch (oder nehmt es mit), oder ihr trinkt Blut (oder nehmt es mit).

3. Bluttrinken ist genauso unethisch wie Kannibalismus, also verliert Ihr auch hier Karma.

On Level 4 (same as the cannibal-perk) you can choose the new perk "bloodlust". It`s working the same way like cannibalism does. If you are in sneak-mode and activate a human corpse, you get a new option "drink blood". I cannot make new anims.. so the cannibal-anim is in use for bloodlust.

After you have drunk from your first victim, a counter starts to run (like in the cannibalism-perk). Every 10 victims you receive a counter-message. At 50 you receive the add-on "bloodrage", which gives you the option to fill up blood in plastic-bags and take it with you (like "dine and dash" in cannibalism).

Of course the mod is hardcore-compatible!

Advice:

1. There is no second level of this perk like on cannibalism "ghastly scavenger". Personally, i don`t need to drink from rotten ghuls or super-mutants sorry ;)

2. If you have both perks with add-on (cannibalism and bloodlust), consider that you still can only choose one from these four options:
eating flesh (or take it with you), or drink blood (or take it with you).

3. Drinking blood is as unethical as cannibalism, so you are loosing karma here too.

Veränderung an New Vegas/Neues
Changes in New Vegas/New stuff

1. Die Blutbeutel bekommen nun mit diesem Perk die Eigenschaften von sauberem Wasser. Sie heilen 5 Punkte für 2 Sekunden und stillen im Hardcore-Modus Durst.

2. Blutbeutel werden nun bei Ärzten verkauft:

Doc Mitchell in Goodspings
Doc Sawbone in Camp - Golf
Doc Kemp in Camp Mc Carron
Doc Urzanagi im New Vegas Krankenhaus
Julie Farkas im Old Mormon Fort in Freeside

3. Außerdem habe ich den Kannibalen-Perk und die Erweiterung dazu übersetzt. "Devour" ist nun "Verschlingen" und "Dine and Dash" ist nun "Fleisch einpacken". Die korrekte Übersetzung für "Dine and Dash" ist eigentlich "Die Zeche prellen" doch das war mir zu schwammig, also muss "Fleisch einpacken" reichen.

4. Das direkte Trinken von einer Leiche hat ebenfalls die selben Auswirkungen wie sauberes Wasser (siehe 1).

5. Blutdurst hat 3 frei wählbare Perk-Icons. Zwei neue (Siehe Screenshots) und ein ungenutztes aus NV.

1. With this Perk, bloodpacks get the same properties as purified water. They heal 5 points for 2 seconds and satisfy your thirst in hardcore-mode.

2. Bloodpacks are now sold by the following doctors:

3. To drink directly from a corpse let you receive the same bonus like purified water (see 1. above)

4. Bloodlust comes with 3 perk-icons which you can choose from. Two are new (see screenshots) and one unused from NV.

Installation / Install
======================

1. Entpackt das Archiv in den Vegas/Data Ordner (überschreiben falls gefordert).

2. Wählt die CCVampire.esp im Startmenü von New Vegas, oder in einem Mod-Manager an.

2a (Optional) Als Standard wird das Blood Rayne Icon benutzt. Ihr könnt aber frei wählen welches ihr letztendlich benutzen wollt. Falls ihr es austauschen wollt, geht einfach unter:

[Data]/Textures/interface/icons/pipboyimages/perks/CCVampire/

Die von der ESP genutzte DDS heißt IMMER "Vampire.dds". Wenn ihr das Icon austauschen wollt, einfach die alte DDS raus und die neue nach Vampire.dds umbennen.

1. Unpack the archive in your Vegas/Data folder (click override when prompted).

2. Check the box to load it on your New Vegas load screen or Mod-Manager.

2a (Optional) the default icon for the bloodlust perk is the Blood Rayne icon. But you can choose, which ever you like. If you want to change this icon, go to the folder:

[Data]/Textures/interface/icons/pipboyimages/perks/CCVampire/

The ESP uses the "Vampire.dds", so the name for your alternate icon MUST have this name. Just move or delete the old .dds, pick something other in the folder and rename it to "Vampire.dds".
