if the base damage is 4, even with the mods attached it will not be doing much damage against anything with a DT of 15, which is pretty common late game.
probably why they beefed the damage of the original gattling laser in game to a base of 10. with mod and optimized ammo that becomes 16.
maybe you could get the guy that created EVE to help you with the horrible sound displacement. he mad his HK version of Vengeance just fine in Fallout 3
I'm having trouble moding the gun. I use the non-replacer holster version and I've tried all the ways I can think of: clicking on the mods in the aid menu having the gun unequipped, equipped and hostered, equipped and ready to fire... I've also tried going to de mod menu where you install the mods normally in all 3 ways without success. Am I doing something wrong?
Really liking the idea of holstering the Minigun on the user's back and been thinking about how to modify the Minigun and Avenger (along with the GAU-19 and Vindicator Mk. 2 from odin_ml's Belt Fed Miniguns mod) such that they'd be holstered the same way a the L30 you've made. Is there anything else I should know before I take a crack at this~? OuO
A green version (optics and lasers) would definitely be a nice bonus, especially for EVE users who miss the green gatling fire from the changed Sprtel-Wood 9700. But this in itself is beautiful, nicely done.
This weapon alone would make me to replay FONV with energy skills. Lets face it - the FO3 and FONV energy weapons are ugly thing that even look uncomfortable and cumbersome. And it wasn`t able to hold me enough to play with energy more than few hours. The classic ones are far, far better. I wonder however why gatling laser do not use the classic MFC but ECP munitions... Excellent mod. Evaluation 10 from 10.
