This does not appear to address the immediately previous bug when you arrive with 1 of 3 technologies to the Elder and she doesn't engage in the scripted conversation, making it impossible to finish the quest and even get to the Paladin encounter upon exiting. Do you have a fix for that?
I've also run into that problem. I had recovered the pulse gun and (using the console because I completed There Stands the Grass earlier) the vault data. I go to the Elder's office and all they do is start a staring contest. Afterword they refuse to acknowledge the quest.
Works well with me, however, her dialogue that should have been (if not, has already been) used prior to the I Could Make You Care quest may be repeated (even if you have already completed it). No problem, just don't talk to her while you're around those parts. Thanks, finally she can move again.
anyways, dear Madcat221 I was wondering if we can work together to find a solution to the infamous "uh! i need to talk to elder mcdonalds" problem where she gets stucked after finding one of the artifacts and she is about to talk to that elder, but she gets stuck, and unless you blow someone's cap off they remain stuck forever.
I know this is a really minor issue, but I think it could be improved by making the item weightless. A lot of us installed this as part of the compiled patch, and as a result we have to carry this weighted item around or find some place to store it until we do the quest.
Doesn't work for me, i use the item, but Veronica still stops me everytime to say "Whats up" even i talk her, ever i doesn't complete "I could make you care"
I destroyed hidden valley, then i talked to her, but later, she stops me to say "Whats up" its a bit frustrating you know?
Works like a charm, I just wish it wasn't added to my inventory until we reach that quest stage. It was installed as part of the community patch, but since I didn't know what it was, I consumed it well before I ran into the bug.
Fortunately, since the community patch uses different object IDs, I was able to download and install this ESP temporarily to fix it.
