Melt down Unused Cases and Cast Useful Ones.

Just place the ESP file in your /data file (\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data For Steam Users); and Enable in the loader. To uninstall, delete. This mod creates items, and deleting mod with items still in game may cause issues with your save. Your safest bet is to craft all the brass and destroy 22LR cases before deleting. I am not responsible for loss/corruption of game saves.

After scrounging around in the wastelands for days, I always found myself in possession of cases that for ammo I just didn't use. So I decided to do something about it.

This mod expands the Reloading Station to allow you to melt Ammo Casing down into Brass bits. And then, allows you to recast them as cases you would like to find more useful.

You can now create shotgun shells as well, using ashtrays (They make a sound close enough to plastic when dropped) to melt them down for plastic. Also, you can now make brass from melting down Toy Cars.

Primer has been updated as well, you can now break primer down and create whatever primer you would like from that.

Each time you melt down a case, it costs flamer fuel. Each time you cast a new bullet, it requires flamer fuel and a bit more brass then you get back from melting. Due to an oversight on my part, Flamer Fuel costs have been dropped on Crafting, and you now receive empty tanks.

The Brass and Recipes are all new Form IDs. The only Conflicts that may arrive are from the 22LR Rounds. They were not set up to recover shells; probably based on the fact that Rimefire Ammunition is difficult to make in the wasteland. I had to change them in order to allow Casing Recovery.

In order to determine how much Brass a case gave when melted down, I looked up the length of Jackets for the ammunition, in inches. I then took the inches, increased it by a power of ten and rounded the numbers to the nearest whole number. (Interestingly, the .44 Magnum has a shorter Jacket then .357, but much larger diameter, so I kinda fudged that one)

For Casting, since I know of no way to randomly fail at a recipe, so I just increased the amount of Brass needed to account for misscasts/spills/etc and to give a sense of "Don't Waste it, You Won't Get It Back" to the Brass.

I have never owned a gun, fired a gun, or held a gun.
Scratch that, I did hold a Kimber once. It wasn't loaded. My knowledge of guns goes as far as Starship Troopers, Counterstrike, and Fallout. I tried to blend a bit of "Wikipedia Level Research" And "It's Just a game". This mod is not very realistic, but lets face it, you are playing a game with Plasma Rifles, Mutants, and Ghouls.

I have never submitted a mod to anywhere before, so go gentle on me. But please, feel free to leave feedback with any thoughts or ideas.
