For anyone who can't click on their courier: type player.playidle F00 (as before, you can replace 00 with any number from 00 to 210) after tcm command. To stop posing, type player.stopidle. Worked for me, hope work for everyone else.
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but whenever I click my courier the ref ID of some item behind her or just the ground shows up, so I can never actually apply any poses to my player character. What do?
I can see how that can be annoying. Are you in Third Person mode, or have you used the console command tfc while in 3rd person mode? Have you tried moving the camera around your Courier, as well as closer to, or further from your Courier?
I did yeah, when I click on her, it just selects either nothing or stuff behind her. I tried it from up close, almost inside her model and a reasonable distance away, and it keeps doing it, and yeah I did hit third person before activating TFC because it wouldn't leave her model in the world otherwise.
I tried it from every angle, every part of her body and every distance, it just wouldn't select. It's probably something really stupid that I just didn't download because it either wasn't listed or I didn't think I'd need. But I don't know what.
Edit: I just tried it again, I had to reinstall yesterday and followed the guide every step of the way, and it still does it. When I select her, it just selects stuff that's behind her. No part of her hitbox works.
Actually, does she need to be wearing something skimpy? Because I'm using ranger patrol armour which covers the whole body.
How much, or how little the character is wearing should not affect whether or not you can click on it, with the console active. Are you perhaps running any mods that affect the 3rd person camera, such as New Vegas Enhanced Camera? I honestly cannot thing of anything else that would be interfering like this.
I wish I knew for certain. Sometimes I have noticed that the dust clouds or even the lighting gets in the way of being able to click on the object I am aiming for, when in the console. This could also be due to how the collision for in-game meshes is handled. If I remember correctly, the collision is not designed to be close or "tight" with the mesh, which, for example, makes it impossible to crawl through openings that should be large enough for your Courier to get through.
The author might have better ideas as to what the issue is, but he has not been around for quite a while now.
When a pose relies on a pose object, but it doesn't actually include the object - I can give the NPC a similar object, but how do I get the object into the NPC's hand(s)? Draw with player is possible with JIP CC&C, but sometimes the object isn't a weapon.
It has been quite a while since I did screen shots for Fallout, but if you are trying to add things like bottles to characters' hands, you might want to try Feng Shui NV . It will allow you to manipulate objects much better than using the Grasp (Z) key does.
Hey, thanks very much for the tip. I never got a notification and only saw it by chance.
I did have another issue. Pose # F351 - the chair clips through the forearm and I'm not sure what to do. I have two different profiles with two different body replacers and both do this.
Other than trying to correct the pose in Blender (which I have not experience using), I suggest using The Groovatron. If I remember correctly, it has a function that allows you to position a NPC on all three axis, so up, down and side to side. I found it to be invaluable when setting up screen shots, when I was still doing that.
If you download the screenshot album, you will find all the individual play idles listed. Since that is not a mod, download it manually. Also, since some users have reported not being able to reset some idle poses, I suggest saving your game before you start posing characters.
Yes, I'm using the Groovatron (don't have it fully downloaded or installed right as the weapon is a giant exclamation mark, but I really use the mod for moving people around) and it works just fine it seems.
The "PlayIdle Reset" command to end posing doesn't work with pose 04 and my character stays stuck in that pose. Saving and reloading or rebooting the game doesn't get her out of pose 4, only loading a save from before the posing command will work.
I haven't tested all 122-something poses so maybe there's more where your character gets stuck.
Love the poses. I like to ask a bit of help please. My companion set to melee option and he got a metal bar as a weapon still what is not listed in his inventory. How can I get rid of it? when he sits the metal bar kind of stiking out of his side like it holstered in an awkward way.

Also, how did you make those amazing girls in the screenshots?
