This mod was made to be a more realistic Light Machinegun. I thought well the Light Machinegun already looks like an M-60 |
so why not make it like one as well. This mod is a modification to the Light Machinegun it slightly increases the damage|
changes the ammunition type from 5.56 to .308 which is more realistic because an actual M-60 uses 7.62x51mm NATO round which |
is basicly a .308 round. Seeing as a 7.62x51mm Nato round does not exist in the game I made it .308. Also the Ammo Capacity|
is increased slighty because the M-60 hold 100 rounds. It fires slighty slower then the original Light Machinegun that was in |
game this is due to the fact that the M60 fires roughly 600rounds/min which is 10rounds/sec. The original fired 12rounds/min. |
The tracer effect is no longer on the gun either. The original gun modification still works for it which increases ammo from |
100 rounds to 120 with the M-60 in the game. Other then that the gun is virtually the same no texture modifications or model |
modifications. Im not great at 3d modeling so I stayed away from trying to change it.
