Funny, you look back through the comments and people had problems with the Hummer, the PC or other questionable lore friendly assets in this mod, but people would overlook them or remove them if they had the capability. It isn't until you get closer to current year and people are butt hurt about one decoration hanging on the wall...as if somehow using this mod endorses some belief, or validates a failed coup from some jerk offs 180 years ago. And then there's making sure to comment in here to let everyone else know how absolutely virtuous and fan-f@$kingtastic they are as a person for not dwnldn' and using this mod...in a video game. Salute to all your sacrifices you unsung heroes, you keyboard warriors out there fighting against...whatever it is, and to, whatever you think you're accomplishing. Keep keeping it real....

I was very interested in this until I saw a Confederate flag. I have no interest in living in a home with such an unbearably racist symbol in it.

Calm down bro it's just a game. If it bothers you just delete it or change the texture to something more patriotic.

Monster energy drinks, LCD TV and laptops? Seriously?

      Ikr?
I was considering getting the mod until I saw that it doesn't even follow the proper lore.

      Inconsistencies I found:
      1) Monster energy drinks - Even if it WAS in the game, it would be renamed and slightly redesigned.

      2) LCD TV and LCD computer monitor and clearly modern gaming computer - In the Fallout universe, computers didn't come out until just before the Great War, so the most advanced computer created was Mr. House's system being the absolute best system, and runner up systems being server rooms and the Pip-Boy.

      3) Modern kitchen tools (Oven, fridge, etc.) - The Fallout game was designed in a 1950's sense, while this is just 2000s+.

      4) Laptops - The computer technology in the FO universe was pretty much just getting started, and it was vastly far away from making real modern laptops.

      5) The pictures outside of a cabin that looks like there's actual life in the grass and trees - When people play a Fallout game, they're expecting desolation, hardships, etc. There isn't supposed to be grass or trees like that in the Mojave Wasteland, that's why it's called a WASTELAND. There's nothing left. Even the forest that Harold generated in FO3 isn't actual life, just mutation.

I don't see why there's a non-lore friendly section of mods, but it shouldn't exist. There's no point in playing an RPG if the lore isn't consistent, as it can easily destroy the immersion. It's even worse for the mod makers, because they're just wasting their time on a mod that most people won't take because it destroys the immersion of the post-apocalyptic world they know and love.

EDIT: northfield should at least add the "Not Lore-friendly" tag so people who ARE looking for a lore-friendly experience don't have to come across this, at least if he isn't planning on fixing the horrific lore-destroying mess he made.

Location itself is great, some items not so much. Especially that modern PC?!
I ended up just disabling the items I didn't like because this player home is otherwise really nice. Love the fortified look.

enter console, click on the item with the mouse button and type 'Disable' without the quotations

cool player house, not badly made. i don't really mind the lorebreaking items like the gaming PC although i can see that being a gripe for other players. the quest was kind of a pain and the "very evil teddybear" was pretty lame if i'm going to be honest. doesn't really fit the tone of the game even with wild wasteland. but, that's a small gripe.

a bigger gripe is the confederate flag. fucking yikes, man. why even put that in? there's no good reason for it to be on display anywhere outside of a history museum doing an exhibit on inbred hicks that lost, apart from maybe inside of a burning trashcan. uninstalled in a heartbeat. shame, the player home is pretty good otherwise.

A mod made by a 12 years old for the 12 years old. Or fot munchkins. Not endorsed because of too much stupidity and lazy setup.

A guy leaves his home after turning on all the house lights, but without turning on his electric fence and other defenses. He then peppers the road - outside his property - with mines and bear traps. A real genius.

What else worth mentioning ? An anvil that makes you pay to repair your stuff yourself ; A black textured "hole" as a cave entrance, yet a door on the way out ; a live giant teddy bear fighting butt-naked in a power armor ; a bunker that isn't a bunker but a palace suite, larger, richer and cleaner than the house per se ; dozens of objects that don't respect the aesthetics of the game ; a note that can be read only once and doesn't add itself into your pipboy ; jailed, abandoned dogs that never starve, and never attack you... and much more. My foreheard hurts from so many facepalms.

Just another god-house with zero immersion.

Great mod! Only problem with it is how whoever made the bunker just took some interior design advice from a drunk dude bro. Also had to disable some horrible lore breaking stuff.

idk what it is with player home mod makers but they just CANNOT make a single player home thats lore friendly. /s

Can i get a union flag instead of that crappy dixie flag? other than that mod looks great. Maybe a picture of the great union general william sherman who set a flame the south and had the confederates in fear. could also add one his great quotes on the wall.

“War is cruelty. There is no use trying to reform it. The crueler it is, the sooner it will be over.”

The Humvee is completely unnecessary and breaks the lore friendliness of the house. Otherwise I'd download it.
