About this mod

This separates the Helmet from the Chinese Stealth Armor, so you can equip them independently of one another.

Permissions and credits
What this does:

This mod seperates the Helmet from the Chinese Stealth Armor, so you can equip them independantly of one another. A pair of helmets can be found in the exact same spot that the suits are found in the vanilla game.

This also alters the Chinese Stealth Helmet to prevent equiping masks, hats and glasses while wearing the helmet.

The (OA Version) mod restores the CSA's stealth field effect from Operation: Anchorage and increases the Stealth skill bonus to 15. Other than this it is identical in every way to the other version of this mod.

Installation:

Drop the .esp file in your New Vegas\Data folder. The full path will look something like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\". Activate the mod in the launcher. If you have previously picked up the chinese stealth armor, the lack of a helmet will be immediatly apparent.

Uninstall:

Just uncheck the .esp file from the launcher, and relaunch the game, you'll recieve a warning that content may be missing, your stealth suit will return to normal.

Known Issues:

--The female mesh has a small gap around the neck that is visible in third person, if you attempt look down the suit.
--This mod may not be compatible with mods that alter the Chinese Stealth Armor.
--Because the Helmet is now a separate item, the overall DT of the suit will be slightly higher, as will its weight (Game Balance, if anyone cares).
--Uninstalling the mod will NOT remove the helmet from your inventory. The helmet already exists in the vanilla game files.
--Attempting to collect the helmet in a game where the suit has already been retrieved may be impossible.
(Workaround: Bring up the console, click on the player character and type "additem 15fd5d 1", this should add a helmet in perfect condition to your inventory.)
--Switching between versions of the mod results in a missing content warning. This can be completely ignored.

Known Issues:

-This mod is not compatible with Project: Nevada

Version History:

1.010.26.10Initial Release.
1.0a10.27.10Rewrote documentation for clarity. (NO CHANGES TO THE .ESP FILE)
1.110.29.10Added an alternate .esp file marked (OA version) that restores the Stealth field and skill bonus from Fallout 3.

Thanks:

To Gaijune on the Bethesda Forums for reminding me where the game stored the helmet data for the normal suit.
To Nairax here on the Nexus for doing this with Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage and showing me that it was possible.
To ltlsiren for reporting the issue with Project: Nevada.
