Tired of shooting from the hip? Well you're in luck! These pistol shooting animations will give you a more appropriate stance. Check out the video!

Please note that this is a work in progress and there are big flaws (see the Known Issues below). Don't use this if you don't like testing beta projects.

1. Extract the .esm file to your data folder
2. Extract the .kf files \Data\Meshes\Characters\_male
3. Enable the .esm file in the launcher
4. Enjoy!

1. Remove the .esm file and the 1hp*.kf files from the locations described in the installation.

* After loading your savegame for the first time after installing this mod, you may find your character is falling through the floor a bit. Just press your aim button or jump to correct this.
* SMGs do not work properly with this mod.
* There is a slight pelvic twitch after shooting.
* The alignment of the left hand in the the idle stance needs adjustment. Also the elbows need to stick out more.

If you're looking for an alternative set of animations, I suggest looking at Alendor's New Vegas - Re-Animated mod. Although I prefer the stance and style of shooting of my animations, his are currently more finished.

I have tested it, and installing these pistol animations over Alendor's mod does not appear to cause any problems with his other animations.

You may also want to check out my Centered 3rd Person Camera mod. The video above shows it in action.
