Having trouble with the Nevada Skies patch, its not recognizing Nevada skies. Looking at the other files, for the dependencies there's a space when there should be none (Nevada Skies.esp, versus NS-Hotfix which does find Nevada Skies as "NevadaSkies.esp"). Any idea how to fix this? FNVEdit won't let me work with it because of that, and to be honest I don't know enough about fiddling with mod files to do it confidently.
Works fine for me, no problems. Although one minor gripe is that being a European, we don't use the metric system and as it's all in Farenheit I have to open the pip-boy to see it in Celsius.
Hey if you guys still want to use powered power armor but don't care about Ambient temperature here you go https://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/powered-power-armor-ttw-edition It says ttw but there is a vanilla fnv version
please patch for nevada skies ttw version i cant use this because i use nevada skies ttw esp i want this mod please make an esp for the nevada skies ttw versiion thanks
As of this date of writing, March 28th 2014. I have come to the conclusion by reading up all I could find that Nevada skies is not compatible with this mod anymore. Essentially, ambient weather is looking for the Nevada skies.esm and if you have download it recently like I have Nevada skies has a file named Nevada skies All DLC.esm or esp, can't remember. Anyway, so ambient skies crashes your game cause it can't find the correct file. there is the URWLified version of Nevada skies, but that mod is not posted on this site, its on another site and from reading it, it is updated as well. So I have decided that the temperature that ambient temperature is showing that I need for Powered power armor, is going to have to be different from Nevada skies. No biggy I think. just have to see. If your johnny on the spot with all this modding its probably fixable. the fella that made this mod could just release a Nevada Skies All DLC version of this but I think due to the last update date that is unlikely. I hope that explains at least at the moment why it doesn't work.
Nevada skies no longer uses references the Ambient temperature patch looks for. Even if you rename the master to match with the newer versions of Nevada Skies - you will get a missing main menu error on start up, a surefire indicator of orphaned references.
@11meister Yes, that's the real issue. Even if the Nevada Skies esp is renamed, the patch still wont do anything. Anyway, how will the game run without the Nevada Skies patch if I load Nevada Skies esm after Ambient Temperature?
I've found the solution to this, first open Ambient Temperature - Nevada Skies.esp with NOTEPAD++, ctrl+f and find where it says Nevada Skies.esp and replace it with NevadaSkies.esm. Save, done!
h? dear brother i change name but in NMM i take error in the Right panle ( in plugin page) and say: Ambient Temperature - Nevada Skies Warning Appears corrupt i dont know why and what can i do for this
For all who has problems with Nevada Skies do this:
First open Ambient Temperature - Nevada Skies.esp with NOTEPAD++, ctrl+f and find where it says Nevada Skies.esp and replace it with NevadaSkies.esm. Save, done!
Don't mislead people it won't work. Since the script has changed the algorithims or the weather types won't work. You can see errors on FNVEdit. I wish it can be solveable like that :/
