Some weapons I found fun to use in FO3 (unreleased), re-created for NV. You\'re on your own for ammo :)

Permissions and credits
The original versions of these were created for my own entertainment in FO3, since the same stuff exists in NV, I figured I'd release them.

You can find the weapons in the shack near the location Jean Sky Diving south along the road from Good Springs (starting town). They come with a few bits of ammunition but not enough to really have much use until later (call it a balance thing).

They use vanilla resources and in the case of the revolver, duplicate the look and sounds of the unique one. Although what they fire is a bit unique, they use standard ammunition. I'll probably change this in the future or something.

Weapons-

Persuader - 8 shot .44 revolver. Shots do high damage and have a good tendency to knock
things down. It's designed to be the "movie style" revolver which packs a hell of a punch.

Desolator - Sniper rifle which shoots bullets that cause a small nuclear explosion upon
impact. Good for clearing out clusters of things from a distance and for burning your retinas.

Napalm Launcher - A modified incinerator that lobs globules of flamer fuel at a target which
bursts into a cloud of flames. This has been improved slightly over the previous version to
be a bit more powerful of a weapon, but at the cost of rate of fire and ammo costs.

The weapons can only be used by the player for both balance and safety reasons.

I will probably be adding to and tweaking things as I go, but these are good enough to have a bit of fun with.

# Adjusted projectile and explosion settings for the Desolator to fix a bug that caused
explosions to appear close to the player when the bullet doesn't hit anything. Changed
the explosion graphics to be smaller and more powerful.
# Adjusted settings related to the napalm launcher to increase damage, but increased ammo
costs and slowed the rate of fire.
# Moved one of the boxes of .44 ammo away from the radio so that it was no longer stuck in
the collision.
# Adjusted the amounf of flamer ammo near the weapon to offset the increased costs.

Asside (rant) -
Anyone who complains that these are just weapons which fire something different would seem miss the whole point. The point is to have weapons that do something different without being an instant god weapon. The point is to release something fun for people to play with without having to clutter their data folders with extra meshes and textures, or wait several weeks for me to make those resources. I made this mod for myself. If I do decide to go and re-texture something, or change the method of getting them, it will only be because I wanted to. You can either enjoy what I decide to release, or you can go somewhere else.
