But i have a question, once I reach level 50 taking advantage of this mod and then uninstall and delete the mod, will I still have all the extra perks that I have obtained thanks to the mod permanently?
I think this mod is fantastic. Despite cheating a bit from what the developers intended, I feel like I can get the most out of my New Vegas playthroughs before having to use a new character.
The mod works as expected...I've been looking for ways to reduce the number of mods running, thus for modders using lStewieAl's Tweaks an alternative approach from the INI is to set:
That only changes how many perks you can select on a perk level. IE: If you set it to 2 you can select 2 perks on lvl 2. On lvl 3 you will receive no perks. lvl 4 will allow 2. and so on.
Not the same thing, but can be turned into a different way of acquiring more perks. Stewie's tweak only changes how many perk points you will be granted whenever you are granted perk points, it won't give you ONE perk at EVERY level, in other words, that option will not change the frequency at which you're granted a perk, but if you set it 2, 3 or higher, you may be able to compensate for levels you weren't granted a perk point. You can also combine THAT setting with THIS mod, so that at EVERY level up, you may be able to pick MORE THAN ONE perk.
Doesn't work for me for some reason... The .esp is in Data folder, mod is activated in FOMM but still got no perk on level 5. I also use Project Nevada (with rebalance options) and MCM, could any of these interrupt this mod?
The mod doesn't function for me and I can't see why. I didn't start the playthrough with the mod and downloaded it using vortex but I'm not sure how those would cause the mod to not function.
Mods not working for me, place it in the New Vegas data files and it doesn't work, and I don't have many mods downloaded. File is being downloaded as Perk every level-34707.7z and not PerkEveryLevel.esp. I don't really download mods a lot, just looking for help
Perk every level-34707.7z is an archive. The ESP file is inside. You need a tool like 7-zip (just google it) to extract it. Once extracted put the ESP in your New Vegas Data folder. Make sure to activate the mod by checking the box of the corresponding ESP either under "Data Files" of the Game Launcher, or by using a mod manager like Vortex, or its predecessor NMM.
