Your carry weight stays on that number forever, and also scales as you get stronger and so fourth, therefore, you can input the command in to the console, save, then quit. That would allow you to gain achievements when you reopen the game.
thanks for making this mode, i hate to just have not more then 300 IBS/KG so this is the perfect when you are at the vault in the casino madre in dead money where you of course want to take all the 37 gold bars with you.
One does not have to input that value every time one starts the game. Once entered the value stays with the following save games until the player changes the value again.
As to the poster regarding Achievements. Dunno if it does or not cause loss of 'achievements'. If using the console does to that I dont' really care as I find achievements droll and pointless. But it is good to consider if one does care. So thanks for bringing it up.
@Glen2k6: Mhm...you might reconsider your description of the mod.
Originally I was looking for a mod that changes the weight and choose yours because it said "slightly" in the description. Yet my tiny little Fallout girl (meaning low strenght) can suddenly carry 2400 (!!!) from originally 200.
I think "slightly" is clearly the wrong term here.
Got it to work by placing the file directly into the data folder and now it works great. (Don't just unzip it to there, it doesn't like subfolders I guess) Thanks.
@oldtrk If you think typing into the console is "a lot easier" then not typing into the console then there is something very wrong with your analytical skills.
I suggest you never have anything to do with efficiency or any sort of systems analysis.
Also, what if you use many commands that can be controlled via the console, is it still "a lot easier" to try and remember every one then type them all in every time you start a new game?
If you think I was rude earlier then lifa has some savage lessons for you.
Hmmm Not sure if it's working, my carry weight is 210 with the Increasedcarryweight2.esp I was hoping it would be incredibly high ... It's ticked on the Data files option menu, should I tick "load loose files" ?

Thanks for reading...
Ignoring the inflammatory ahat language.

And you don't have to be rude about it.
