Need names for this town

Hey everyone,

I've begun building this town, the main settlement for my new mod, Dry Canyon Populated, which obviously takes place in Dry Canyon, the mod by Trickyvein.

As you know from the title, I am looking for names for this town. The image right now is far from finished, but gives a general overview of the town, and the two main sections, the slums and the sandcrete area (that district/area of the town also has no name :P)

Hopefully someone can come up with a fitting name for this place, because as of now I'm stumped.

    Well, I like BoulderShade, However, if your splitting the town into two, I would name the districts Steal and Stone. I know its obvious, but its the kind of thing that would inspire anger among the residents and discontent.
    Unless your making Scrap Dealers living in one side and tribals in the other

    I also like bouldershade ....being its mostly tin shacks maybe tin town or rust canyon

    If we had more meat on the location, we might come up with better names. How about Bouldershade? Scorchtown? Depending on the sun's orientation, I could see the mesa providing respite or torment for the townsfolk. If the enclosed area had a grisly background, maybe Redsprings? Prospector's Pen? Dustflow? Wastemarch?

      Bouldershade has a nice ring to it...

      As for more information about the location, about a hundred yards south of the town is the main canyon in the region. Obviously it's out of shot in the image, but that small canyon that you can see also feeds into the main one, if that helps at all.

    Or in english: 'Shady Dunes'
    Seems fitting for a desert town in the shadow of a giant Mesa. =P

    How about Agua Fresca, or pueblo?

    Please add crazy amounts of enemies to dry canyon and opposing factions, that'd be badass

    Well, from the looks from the image, I can clearly see that this town is built at the foot of a mountain or mesa which could give some ideas on what to call this place. For example, something like "Mesa", "Rocky Springs" or even "Ramshack Foothills"?

    I'm sorry if these names don't help, I'm trying to get some ideas flowing here... X/

    And if that doesn't help, try looking up some fictional town names, like in another wasteland-like stories...
