About this image

This is a promotional image for The Better Angels, my final mod for FO:NV. It will feature what is undoubtedly the largest battle I've ever scripted out of all my released mods (much of the script was lifted from The Siege of Firebase Zulu)

As far as setting anything in FO4, I will just have to wait and see how the game shakes out. It will depend on factions, NPC's, the worldspace, etc.

There could be a gaping hole (e.g., bounty hunting and boxing), or just a random idea that takes hold.

I will say this, though - if the game is obnoxiously black/white in morality (which I don't anticipate, honestly), then I will aim for something murkier.

Cool, I will hit you up when it comes time to test the beta. Thank you!

For what it's worth, my greatest regret as a modder is not being able to finish Firebase Zulu. Marcellus was my only genuine attempt to humanize the Legion.

    New Boston Bounties?

I really don't know. It will depend on the tone of the game and if there are any glaring deficiencies in content. Bethesda also has a tendency to underwrite factions, which can effectively leave them as a blank slate (e.g., The Companions in Skyrim, The Regulators in FO3). I can fill into that void without disrupting immersion (I fucking hate that word now).

I have an really important question, the most important of them all (trust me,I have a lot,my curiosity is simply unsatisfiable),will Cocker and Cutty return?Their ending slide says they both enlisted into the NCR Army for front line duty.Their time in the NCR Army could bring new discussions

    I plead the fifth.

Thank God, I'm really glad you where able to put together the stuff from slaves and sinners and the mod that shall not me named for the conclusion of the someguy series. Your mods have mad FONV so much better than it has ever been (I just hope there's a way to get around the voiced protagonist in FO4 at least in case you want to do any mods there), I used them on my first playthrough which I still use today to play your mods. I will miss your talent.
    Thank you

Looks neat. So does this basically combine the remnants of Sinners and Slaves and Fire-base Zulu into one mod?

In a broad sense, yes. It takes place after the NCR achieves a Pyrrhic victory at Firebase Zulu, and the player has completed NVBIII. The player will be dealing with the immediate effects of the slave revolt in Arizona, which has just been crushed with extreme brutality.

Oh, and it will feature Rangers Josey and Watson, some of my favorite characters. Josey = Joaquin, if you're curious.

That sounds pretty cool. It's too bad my main character is a legion sympathizer.

If you need any help getting this thing out on time, please message me. I don't have much in the way of computer skills but I would be willing to playtest/provide feedback if you need it.

I am definitely looking forward to this! One of my favorite factions (Desert Rangers), and a big battle? What else could one ask for?
