About this image

An armor based on, but slightly different from the T-60 Power Armor from Fallout 4. It's the fourth armor I've ever made, so I'm still not very good with it.

And the wasteland armor I have made should be out soon, there's just a last couple of things I have to fix first :P

    Hey dude!

Thats a real cool start you've got there. Make good use of the released images of the figurine as reference, its going to be your best friend while modeling this. At the moment, its a great start, you've really nailed the forms for the pauldrons, and you've got all the pieces separated where they should be. double check the proportions of your breastplate if you're going to try and replicate the t-60 rather than "t-60-is", as its much wider than it is tall.

I really look forward to seeing what direction you take this in!

Honestly, Ive never been very good at replicating anything perfectly, and in this case, i don't really want to. I'm aiming to make a generally T-60 armor, with a little bit of my imagination rolled up with it. Thank you for the suggestion though

Looks fantastic but... small bit of criticism if you don't mind: Why are there so many tubes? That thing looks fragile as hell.
    Unless those are metal pipes?

On the actual armor in Fallout 4, the sides are covered in tubes around the sort of power armor base. I basically got all of them from the original design.

Well, instead of being flexible tubes do you think you could texture to look like metal pipes or something? Unlike the other tubes on the tanks, they have no reason to move around.

IDK sorry, that just really bothers me.

They could be heat sinks of some kind. Solid metal pipes wouldn't need to worry about being shot.

The tubes/pipes are probably for heat transfer and pressure release and distribution; notice they're connected to the backpack AND the belt area. And like all post- T-45 models it's likely made of depleted uranium or similar ceramic-composites -- so it's inherently bullet"proof", like tank armor.

The more XP you gain, the more your mod level increases!

We are all improving all the time, the more we practice, tinker, imagine, and experiment.

Hell I just earned enough xp to level up my modding yesterday after reading MindBoggles new creature tutorial.

You've already got quite an impressive handle on weapons modeling, in time your armor skills will be right up there with it!

As far as I know it's going to be included in the Frontier. I think Anoetwo said something about a standalone version, but I can't verify that. If he does release it standalone I'd imagine it'll be after the Frontier drops.

Love it! And hey, when you finished this armor, do you think you'll be also be able to give it the Brotherhood Outcast's black and red colors as well as the Brotherhood colors? Make several versions of this armor with different color schemes or something? :3
