So the day you have all not been waiting for is coming, finally going to release my dog textures. I admit these where hard to do, and I admit I was more then alittle discouraged with doing them.
All normal dogs are now retextured, including Cyber dogs (Rex and DLC dogs). Almost the whole texture has been from scratch in alot of places, only the teeth are not fully done. The textures will come in 2048x2048 and 1024x1024 for you to choose. Its all been made using REAL dog pictures unlike the vanilla one.
I hope to have these out sometime next week, I need to pack them up still and make a readme so its very close to being done.
Pictures are all unaltered (aside from cropping) and no ENB was used.
Why it took so long:
You see when I was working on these I had a modder and a user PM me for help (not about my dog stuff) and I try to always answer questions about anything I know, most people who pm for help know this. The issue was that these two took my help and then laughed in my face because of how I did things, such as using Blender no "real" modder uses Blender after all or how I got about making textures.
I know I do not do them the "right" way, my thinking in my head is never "right" to begin with. But it stung alot being laughed at like that on top of being ill and family problems, so I just ended up putting these on the back burner for a long time.
Anyways I thought I should explain alittle why they took so long LOL!

But every once in a while someone just hits me right where it "hurts" and that is my skill with programs, some people just get things and take to new programs easily. Sadly I am the opposite it takes me a long time to learn and feel comfy.
Anyways I will get this released and be happy-ish with it, that is the goal lol. XP
Xazomn: Damn dog seams, why did they break the UV map up sooooo horribly?
Release is most likely on friday.
Can't really add anything meaningful here. But I DO know that one person with a pen knife might be able to create a piece of art that another, with a workshop full of the finest and most expensive tools, cannot And this puppy is no exception to the quality of your mods that so many of us would not want to be without
RedRogueXIII, the modeler who has done a good chunk of our sexy weapon models, uses like Milkshape or something "silly". Something completely non-mainstream and still produces more professional models than half pro artists using Maya do.
Use the tools you do the work with loudly and proudly if they're what you're comfortable with. The opinions of a few snobby jerks aren't worth wasting any thought on, much less losing sleep over.
It's funny; I grew up playing the drums and became very good at it, but my family was never very rich so I always played on my starter drums with beginner level cymbals. I'd show up at shows with my kit and other drums would laugh at me because they had Pearl kits with top of the line studio cymbals. And each and every time, I'd embarrass them and expose them for the rich poseurs they really were. It's the user that matters, not the tools they use.
There are even plenty of indie games on the steam market right now with their hard-surface assets being made from Blender. (especially with the FBX support it has).
The Blender nay-sayers are in fact the misinformed ones here

ahem, they were saying?
I know what it's like, I once got ranted at a user I was trying to help because I didn't use paint.net for my textures and "every modder uses paint.net"
2. FRESH IS BEST. When you can, use fresh-pressed or squeezed juice. The flavor and nutrient boost will be outstanding.
Great work, makes a huge difference
