It just depends on the recoil system integrated with the weapon itself. There are countless videos of people of varying stature firing a .50 cal rifle in a braced standing postion.
Now... If we were talking about the Denali NTW-20... Yeah no fucking way in hell.
With this rifle, it's possible. The PGM Hecate II, the gun the AMR is based off of, has a highly effective muzzle brake that gives it recoil similar to a 7.62 rifle. Pretty cool, in my opinion.
