So TFH posted his fancy 1st recon gear which looks really snazzy, this is the one I was working on. I don't really think I'll finish as his is actually a lot nicer in my opinion.

    Yeah, don't abandon your work. BOTH versions are good and offer something different. TFH isn't interested in adding models to his so yours would appeal more to folks who want more attachments to their armor.

      All I did was copy the bandoleer off the NCR trooper in Nifscope. I really like his texture work though, something about it to me looks a ton better.

    Something you and TFH both need to be aware of is that using this model from Boone is problematic. First, there is no pipboy compatibility. I don't mind since I use the readius, but others will complain. Also, the arms and upperbody are not separated so you may find there is clipping in first-person. And if I remember correctly, the armor isn't rigged to dismember. This is all because it was an unplayable armor in the vanilla game. To get it working properly will require more than retexture work.

      holy s#*! you actually talk o.o By the way, great mods. I loved the Modern Gunslinger, infact I use it now. will upload image I did like the other ones, but.. y'know. I just like Modern Gunslinger most.

      Yes I talk! Have I not responded to something you wrote before? I may have forgotten. If so, my apologies.

      Anyway, I was a little restless tonight so with the pictures from you and TFH, I decided to make a modder's resource for this outfit. It turns out that I was wrong about dismemberment (I had it confused with the mysterious stranger outfit), but I've separated the arms and upperbody and I made it more pipboy friendly.

      Also, I noticed that the outfit is rigged quite terribly in the base game. You should see the original bone weights! I'm just an amateur who mods for fun, but even I can tell the original weighting was deplorable. I'm fixing that too. Give me an hour or so to upload.

      If you weren't bending over backwards with your own mods I might've bugged you about helping me with my Ranger Rejects project. Thanks a ton for the resource man, I really appreciate it.

    I love the image- infact I recommended TFH to use a bandoleer and a different shaded scarf. If you did make this, I'd download it as well.
