About this image

------------------------------------------------------------
If this is H(e)aven, I would hate to see Hell.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I highly recommend listening to "Wicker Man" by Iron Maiden while viewing this image.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Although not really NV (it is actually The Pitt from FO3), I have decided it was good enough to show off here as well (They seem to be fine in LR related images on the FO3 Nexus). It is also a sort of advertisement for the stuff I'm submitting at the FO3 Nexus, I guess.

    Congratulations on all the endorsements!

Also surprised to see so many people disliking Skyrim, by the looks of it in general you'd of thought it was one of the best games ever made. (I've never played TES).

In Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas, the side quests always give you a interesting story, but in Skyrim, you get a boring character with a dilemma and little in the lines of depth. Per example, in FO3, you can walk into Megaton, and immediately get a totally unnecessary, but character building, sidequest to disarm or explode the bomb. In Skyrim, you walk into a town, a guard says he got shot in the knee with an arrow, and you eventually find a quest that lacks any character depth, like the one where you meet that *****y High Elf in Solitude that insults you and asks you to wear some ugly looking suit/dress over to meet 'Elisif the fair'. The one from Skyrim adds nothing to the game, just a ugly suit. The one from Megaton gives serious repercussions depending on how you handled it. Both can be found in similar ways, talking to a character in a town you walked into. Hell, another thing I love about the Fallout games is the Radio. When you hear about your actions, as spoken about by Three dog, you feel a little pride or a little shame, depending on the subject. Maybe they could at least add a little but more gossiping on Skyrim, so you could actually have that same feeling.

I downloaded the excellent mod Infernal Skies for Fallout 3, found here: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/6977

The rest was mostly making it brighter in certain spots, and making the details in it more solid with use of GIMP and Paint.NET

"I really don't know why it's as popular as it is"

Judging by the imageshare, pretty vistas, dragons, and glistening, mostly naked elf-maidens.

That is stunning. I wouldn't worry about posting FO3 images over here, you can play it through NV so that kind of makes them the same game. As for Skyrim I can't get into that at all, it looks very pretty but there's nothing there of much interest. I can't create a character I have any interest in, I can't bring myself to care about the people of Skyrim, nothing I do in game makes the slightest bit of difference to anyone or anything, the sidequests aren't at all appealing and the main story didn't interest me in the slightest. It's hard to believe this blandness was created by the same people who made Morrowind.

Fucking wicked man, it doesn't even look like fallout anymore. How much of it's effects/color pallet are photoshoped?

Also, Skyrim got quite boring after the first few main quests. It became far more repetitive than FO3 or NV in both it's enemies and quest structure. I really don't know why it's as popular as it is, the game seems to have been way over-hyped and incredibly dumbed-down for the console players that they knew would be picking it up in mass.

I guess it's just an example of how effective Bethesda is at skewing media attention in it's favor.

I agree, skyrim replay value is low, i dont know what it is but the quests start to seem repetetive and the game has a hint of bordom to it. its almost like the charactors in the game want you to pick up on a vibe of bordom in skyrim, you can sense this because there always yawning like crazy. but thats its lore, theres no radio,tv electricity etc. i just hope everybody at least comes back to new vegas.
