Yeah, mod managers can be both a blessing and a curse.  I'm one of those dinosaurs that still use FOMM for Falout 3 and New Vegas.  Vortex is fine for everything else for me.

Agreed. FOMM for NV. Unless I'm installing manually. Hehe.

Thank you Brigand - also for the video..... When finally I picked up the courage to install TTW I wanted to go by the book - meaning MO2. I HAD seen a couple of guides on how to run TTW using NMM. But apparently results were mixed so I decided to play safe. NMM is surely much easier to use. Though I am getting used to the idiosyncrasies of MO2 (there are more than a few) And I like it better than Vortex.
In this case I was fortunate to remember a comment from MissM a few days ago. It had me check the plugins - and do a facepalm.....

Of course!  I wasn't trying to debate mod managers, sorry.  From my perspective, they're just like mods in the sense that folks should use the ones that make the most sense for them and give them the best experience.  If it works for you and you're having fun, use it!

No reason to say sorry. I know you're not one to push your views on others. I like to hear other people's views on different things. And we've known each other for so long.....

Ouch, a day and a half trying to find something just to discover the ESP didn't activate. (I've done that more than a few times *Laughs*)

Gorgeous and very cool set, my friend! :)

For me it happens when I create a plugin in FNVEdit, usually a patch for something, and forget that newly created plugins are NOT activated by default.

I like Steve. He seems very level-headed and even-tempered. Makes sense though, given what he used to do with the big .50.

Oh, this was intended to be a reply to Brig's comment about FOMM and Vortex.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto. I'm sure that MO2 is fine, but I just haven't been interested in climbing the learning curve.

And I would like to know what is behind that door.

Thank you very much Laird The learning curve is steep for sure. But I am getting used to working it now. NMM went haywire on me a few years ago and I went Vortex - though I really didn't want to. As I said to Brigand - I was very unsure about this TTW stuff, so I decided to go by the manual. And if nothing else then I like MO2 better than Vortex

That's the main thing   Thank you very much Eggman. I'm happy to know Anyway - I was running around like a frantic trying to find a new hideout I had installed. I was sure I was in the right place - which I was. But the darn MO2 had not activated the .esp......... This is just a few thoughts on what I'm going to do now. And why I probably won't be posting (much) for a while
