So this has been highly requested by MANY, MANY people. Both fans of mine and haters of mine alike have asked me, in some way shape or form, to do this. I finally decided it's time to dust off the cobwebs, and resurrect an old friend of ours. If you've been following my images the last few days, you saw this coming. If you haven't, or if you're stumbling upon this for the first time, allow me to introduce Hawkins.

Hawkins is an old companion from an old project I worked on some odd years ago that cannot be found anymore. I don't like to talk about it because of some stuff it caused with my mental and physical health, but Hawkins was part of it. He was universally beloved. Originally designed as an evil oriented character, he became something different, something new. A chaotic-neutral character with a fondness for his kid and a strong hates for both the NCR and the Legion. He loves strip clubs, titties, and booze and sometimes chems, and especially loves putting holes in enemies. Loyal to his friends. Despiser of his enemies. And, most importantly, his fearlessness in declaring his mind when the time comes around.



After the project fell flat, Hawkins vanished. Leaving many people heartbroken that their brother-in-arms was now lost to the void. Until now....

Hawkins has been rebuilt from the ground up, from his initial encounter near Quarry Junction to his reactions towards various locations around the Mojave. Hawkins has been lovingly recreated from scratch, with every intention of bringing back the brotherhood he shared with the Player. What will be included upon release is the companion itself (duh), reactions towards the deaths of various NPCs around the Mojave, reactions to various locations around the Mojave, the ability to do weapon switching when he reaches a certain weapon merchant, crafting explosives once the proper criteria/locations have been reached, and over 600 lines of dialogue!

Now, some things have been changed to rebalance Hawkins and to make him work. One thing that was changed was his encounter with Eddie. That was taken away, since I caught flak for having another VA voice over Eddie's silent lines. Another thing changed was Hawkins reason for being in Quarry Junction. Although I think this makes him more interesting. His weapon switching ability makes him viable for late game, too!

Another thing that changed was his voice actor (go ahead and start crucifying me. I expected it). Paul Warren, the original VA of Hawkins, was short on time and could not dedicate any amount of time to the second coming of Hawkins, so I got Stewart Moyer instead. You may recognize Stewart from his work in Starwind, the Super Mutant mods I have made for FNV, and the Encounters Series for FNV. He will do a phenomenal job and I believe you all will love what he does with Hawkins.

Now, future updates will include DLC integration, more Mojave content, and even a personal quest.

That's all from me. I hope you all got your fix from this, as there is no release date yet. Everything's written and we're just waiting on Stewart Moyer to do his part. I hope you all bear with me on this new journey, as we experience Hawkins and bond with him on this new iteration.

    Never played with him from before, but he sounds awesome! Looking forward to encountering him in the future! :)
