Thanks a lot Laird. That was a great clip (Pity about Bruce W ) I've heard - and read- about the movie. But I never got around to see it. I'm not sure why. It's my genre of movies all right. And I really like BW. Charon would fit into that setting like a hand in a glove
Wonder if Charon has ever been to Rivet City or Megaton? Prior to joining up with the Lone Wanderer that is. Because those are the only 2 places in D.C. that would be comparable to Freeside, much less New Vega itself. None of the other "settlements" in DC are larger that 4-5 people. Barring the Citadel of course, and I really doubt that would have been on Charon's list of places to visit, lol. There's Paradise Falls, Evergreen Mills, & Tenpenny Tower, that all have much smaller populations than Freeside itself. Honestly, as far as population goes DC seems to have been picked damn near down to the bone of people.
I have no idea how much he's seen of DC. I haven't checked up on his background. Apart from what Azrukhal tells you. By now I tend to make up my own lore/background for the different characters. At least with Charon I have a very specific purpose of bringing him to Vegas - with Garrett at least. I've also come up with a quite extensive background/pre war life for him. Even including one of my Fallout 4 characters. Anyway - In this situation I imagine him having heard /read about pre war Las Vegas. In which case this WILL be quite underwhelming Thank you very much Dave
I deeply regret not using him more than I did when I got FO3 back then. Not until Llama brought him to the Mojave did I take an interest in him. He's very important to the diary now. And now I can bring the REAL Charon to Vegas instead of having to rely on a modded copy. That's pretty awesome. Adding Llama to the equation - again - with her Charon modification, makes him even more interesting Thank you Blu
