Step 1: Install "GGG Bittercup" and convert it to TTW using the script provided by the TTW team. It will work with TTW now but you will get an error message. You use NVEdit for this task.
Step 2: Open "GGG Bittercup" in the Geck and save it again. Now TTW sees it as a legit TTW/New vegas mod.
Step 3: Check that it works. Look up Bittercup in Big Town and check she's got the new look.
Step 4: Open NVEdit and check the BetterBittercup.esp. Or let it load everything and then search for Bittercup in the "Filter by filename" low left.
Step 5: Expand BetterBittercup.esp.
Step 6: Delete the "Non-player character" from BetterBittercup.esp, leaving only Armor, Eyes, Hair, Race and Texture set. Close FNVedit, saving the changes
Step 7: Install Bittercup Redux and open the Geck. Check both GGG Bittercup and Bittercup Redux. make Bittercup Redux the active file.
Step 8: Change the Bittercup Redux race from "Vanila" to "Bitrace" in the Geck. You may have to add "Bitdress" to her inventory in the GECK. I'm not sure if it is necessary. I did it just to be sure.
Step 9: Go to Big Town and ask her to come along. In my case she swapped her vanila clothes for her dress the moment she agreed to come along.
The only thing I have not been able to, is changing her hair. In the Geck I get two choices. "Bithair" and NONE...... Oh well...
Seems you have a nice little crew going on here
Proof that old folks (looks at self) can learn new tricks.
She's so goth it hurts. Or was that broods moodily?
"So goth it hurts......" She's screaming with delight at such a fine compliment.....
Thank you very much Laird
The actual amount is different for everyone, but once we start modding games we spend more time fiddling with them than playing them, right?
