Thank you Legoguy I hope I can remember it. I'm not particularly good at writing guides..... Anyway - here goes:

Step 1: Install "GGG Bittercup" and convert it to TTW using the script provided by the TTW team. It will work with TTW now but you will get an error message. You use NVEdit for this task.
Step 2: Open "GGG Bittercup" in the Geck and save it again. Now TTW sees it as a legit TTW/New vegas mod.
Step 3: Check that it works. Look up Bittercup in Big Town and check she's got the new look.
Step 4: Open NVEdit and check the BetterBittercup.esp. Or let it load everything and then search for Bittercup in the "Filter by filename" low left.
      Step 5: Expand BetterBittercup.esp.
Step 6: Delete the "Non-player character" from BetterBittercup.esp, leaving only Armor, Eyes, Hair, Race and Texture set. Close FNVedit, saving the changes
Step 7: Install Bittercup Redux and open the Geck. Check both GGG Bittercup and Bittercup Redux. make Bittercup Redux the active file.
Step 8: Change the Bittercup Redux race from "Vanila" to "Bitrace" in the Geck. You may have to add "Bitdress" to her inventory in the GECK. I'm not sure if it is necessary. I did it just to be sure.
Step 9: Go to Big Town and ask her to come along. In my case she swapped her vanila clothes for her dress the moment she agreed to come along.

The only thing I have not been able to, is changing her hair. In the Geck I get two choices. "Bithair" and NONE...... Oh well...

Thanks a lot Blu It does - doesn't it The only thing I regret about TTW is that I didn't muster the courage to do it a long time ago When I get tired of the dust and the hubbub of the strip I go mutant hunting in the narrow confines of DC. And then - once the tunnels have made me lose any sense of direction - it's a bless coming back to the wide open space of the Mojave I have a soft spot for Moira and Clover. But when I saw Bittercup was up as a TTW companion......

The good news is, now you're more skilled and capable.
Proof that old folks (looks at self) can learn new tricks.
She's so goth it hurts. Or was that broods moodily?

Thank you very much Etholas Yes - even an old dog can learn new tricks. Though perhaps it takes a little longer. At least that's how I feel. But it's a fun way to get the not so young brain in motion. And along some lines it's not used to
"So goth it hurts......" She's screaming with delight at such a fine compliment.....

Good version of her. And yes, I think you captured the Goth style well.

All credit to Satanslilhelper. She/he was the one who created the goth Bittercup. And stated that it was incompatible with anything but the companion mods she/he made patches for. Well - I don't think TTW was out in 2010 so....
      Thank you very much Laird

Dang, she's short.  Congrats on getting it working how you want!
The actual amount is different for everyone, but once we start modding games we spend more time fiddling with them than playing them, right?

Thanks a lot Brigand Yes - and Clover is either very tall. Or maybe she's floating off the ground. I'm not quite sure. Yes - you're right. Once we figure out we actually are able to DO something to tailor the games to our needs/taste........ And the satisfaction when you actually manage to do what you set out to do - no matter how many times you had to try

I always say it's the creative manifesting itself within us.
