Well - now I know where at least ONE of the rockets went. Not very far........ I found 3 bodies of the Bright Followers lying around. I did nothing to sabotage their mission. So that's not why.
The masonry in the background is the train tunnel leading into Nellis. A bit firther back is Raul's shack.

    I stumbled into these poor sods the other day while I was hunting down Onoda for New Vegas Bounties. Obsidian didn't have the time to implement this, so it comes from a mod; which one, I'm not certain.

    The wiki helpfully points to this stream, at 10:30:30

      Thank you very much Hecta I've got a few mods which add extra NPCs/encounters. Then of course there's TTW with its own flavor of YUP. Hmm....

    IIRC, there is a message that shows when you initiate the launch that says something about their course being wrong, and if you have a high enough science skill you can correct it. My guess is failing to do so leads to this. Honestly this is one of my least favorite quests, as it is a pain in the butt to complete, and I'm pretty sure Jason is out of his gourd, and delusional.

      That's right Dave. And I usually do it. But I cannot remember if G did it. Vega did not. She was so tired of the whole thing she went on a rampage up there Thank you very much
