every time I look forward to your work with impatience and every time I wonder how good you are at conveying the atmosphere of retro futurism of classic fallouts. Wow It's great!
Question. Since this is meant to be a recreation of the BoS Combat Armor from FO1/FO2. In both those games, this armor and the regular one have different icons, suggesting they're supposed to have a different color scheme (the BoS one is darker). However, they both look the same in the avatar.
Which approach are you planning to use? Both armors having the same color scheme or this one having a darker color?
Or maybe a different color scheme that better fits the dessert could be used? (would be nice to have as an optional)
You can open my mods and see that mk2 and mk1 have different shades of green...
Here is a render without any comparison to anything. Color (especially in PBR) depends on hdri environment, lightening, metallicity, etc. You could only compare colors if i put mk1 helmet alongside in the same environment.
Moreover it is just a concept with procedural blender shaders as placeholders, not even textures.
