Ulysses: Walked a lot of roads, the two of us. Lead us to each other - we found each other again in The Divide. Thought we'd bring an ending to things, thought maybe she'd best me - and she did. She'd taught me a lot of hard lessons, gave me a lot of insight with the messages she'd carried. The way she'd bested me, though? Risked her life just to convince me that violence wasn't the answer. Six was careless, foolish - at first I hated it, but then I realized her way of living had a certain charm to it. She grew on me, softened my heart then.
Six: So this one time I got drunk and chemmed out in Freeside and wound up stealing someone's shopping cart. Somehow I done fell into said shopping cart and Ulysses "drove" me home back to the Lucky 38 without a word. That's love, man. He warmed my heart an' all that.
