    It's very interesting which things trigger which memories - but triggering good memories is always a good thing.   Two nice photos.

      Thank you very much Hammer Well - even with corona and whatnot we still look at each other and say "We did it" Instead of just waiting. Once I retire etc etc.......! And our road trips in - mainly the western part of of USA and Canada- will always live in our memories. No matter what. Because we lice our dreams instead of just putting them off. Not that the longing is not present. The hot desert and the immense open expanses - and the mountains............

    I remember that image and your trip.  Too bad I couldn't get time off work or there would have been a small, fuzzy black cat there, too.

    Awwwsome. I'll never forget. We have Mrs. Bernt to thank for that. I remember she wanted to make sure she got the picture  just right and took some time to do so. Good hotel also. A great place -- no snow, but 15 F cooler than Vegas. Great memory.

    Do you remember what year that was? I think it was June, well over 100 F, and the asphalt/tar was bubbling in the parking lot (car park) at Hoover Dam.

      Howdy Laird and Hi Steff

      Been a while, but I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in, sure that's in a song somewhere, can't remember, mutter mutter.

      Been busy training and excercising and dieting over winter, the doc said if I didn't lose weight my blood pressure would kill me, so like you do when you crap your pants I got on and did something about it. Six stone down and coming in at 11 stone and I got muscles too, along with a fair bit of loose skin, don't know wether fold it or iron it but heh, I'll deal with that later.

      Just had to do this when I got the opportunity to use the real Cormell NPC 2015 it was Browsed a lot of pics in order to find this. And remembered..... Yep - Hoover Dam was hot. Very hot. But not too hot for a walk up to the bridge. Drank a lot of water of course. But it's the first - and only - time I've seen a thermometer (in the car) at 50 centigrade. Hotter than Death Valley

      Thanks a  lot Murat It was in my picture set of the "Grand tour of the Mojave - revisited" way back. But I did not have a proper Cormell NPC for the in-game shot. Worked better with the RL Cormell. Much easier to pose too
