I was just testing some 3d modelling technique related to smoothing groups and weighted vertex normals which make certain meshes look really good, even on this outdated engine. The result was quite impressive, because there are no visible normal map seams and the mesh gets properly shadowed.

    wow that looks great. Would look awesome ingame too given it's not a 1:1 USP so with a few scratches it'd look right at home... Match Pistol.

      Its ingame shot lol Not gonna add scratches as i always try to preserve original artist vision.
      I was planning to turn it into a dual gun, still experimenting with implementation. Too much questions, not enough answers.

      well I feel dumb lol. It looks great anyways, looks like it won't stand out too much alongside other guns. Oh man you'd be up on top files for weeks if you made an akimbo mod haha

      My ultimate goal is to make dual colt single-action's, but i know the reload is gonna be a huge pain in the ass to make, so i thought i would warm up with something relatively simple. There are at least two ways to make dual guns work without scripting, but no-one seems to bother.

      can't imagine how reloading SSAs would look like unless you just hide them like CS 1.6, maybe you'd just holster each one quickly before reloading another? and lol yeah, especially considering it was done in 2015 already but never released.
