      I'm pretty sure it's not based off of anything from GTA, or at least anything from the older ones. It might be based off a car from GTA V or something but if it is I don't recognize it. Can't say the same for the Hermes though

      Yep Hermes seems to be borrowed from older GTA mod.
      
      This car is from Renafox. So unique car close to Desoto '59:

      Fixed and changed textures quite a lot because originals are quite low resolution. 
      
      I have named it Chrysalis Desoto.

      The "Hermes" in the Frontier  is a Mercury Eight 1951.
      Model come from a free non-commercial 3Dwarehouse model, made by lowriderfreak
      Textured by me an rigged to our car skeleton.
      We called it Hermes as a reference to GTA, that is true ;)
