Sadly, I never finished FONV, so I am not really familiar with the story - but I hope I can follow the content of your story anyway.
Colors and atmosphere of these shots are so great and I love the outfits very much. And of course, again you show some wonderful staging and nice conversation - i am pretty sure this story-line will be fun to follow, no matter what sort of persons your characters are. Curious and looking forward!

.......We have met the enemy and he is us.......
This is my favorite saying in the Pogo-books. That is such a precious piece of comic to read - deeply human and wise........and incredibly funny. (I just had difficulties with the political parts, due to my lacks in the English language and the historical context) .I love Pogo's tender and pure heart and soul ,although my favorite character is Porky Pine.
Thank's for the reminder - although the circumstances are not so pleasant.

I will try to remember that some have not played FNV and add some background. Ask me to clarify/explain if needed. Thanks. I've gotten to be pretty good at conversation and sometimes have to resist the temptation to have my characters talk too much. They are always chattering away in my head -- seriously, well mostly seriously. Ah, I'm glad to hear you liked Pogo. It's such an old cartoon, but some things never change.

I love to see your writings and images around here again (:
The opening got me very curious to know more about this characters.
I find the atmosphere you create and capture in any game is amazing.

Thank you. I needed a break from FO4. And as I mentioned some of your images inspired me. I'm on a trip to Zion right now -- so what better time than now to do something in FNV?

This is intriguing. And very atmospheric One thing is New Vegas in itself - which is excellent. Another thing is the "What happened after" . When the end slides have scrolled past. Maybe you just grab another game. Maybe your mind start whirling. What if.......... And it can be very rewarding just giving in to your imagination - or reading the stories of other people who have done just so
Edit: Reading the comments I just learnt a couple of new words/concepts. SJW and Virtue Signalling. I need a beer now. Preferably a strong one to settle the sickness in my stomach....
I'd never have thought that a remark about socks would earn you a sanction. And - yes- I know very well what you are talking about and I think it's funny The other one.... well, I've seen it before with this modder. Just to add my two cents to the fire: We've had a few anti racist demonstrations - BLM. Order of the day: You white foolks stay to the back and do NOT shout THIS; do NOT make THAT gesture; etc etc. I really really need that beer now. Have a good - and safe- trip. We'll be along in our minds

Thanks. I was hoping to create a "better look" to my game for FNV. I'm getting there and was happy to see some new mods that really helped. Concerning the story if there is one here -- I'm gong to create an alternate reality -- the story behind the story. If it makes sense. I'll continue.
And I am sorry to have been the one to introduce you to these new terms. Unfortunately, we are immersed in this new culture in the US. These are people who demand tolerance, but are completely intolerant of anyone else. In Flagstaff, we saw protestors near the university -- not many -- and they were mainly holding signs to show to the cars passing by on Route 66.
We're in a campground about halfway between Zion and Bryce canyon -- appropriately named Bryce Zion Campground. :) No cell phone, no TV. and only satellite internet. There is a pool, but it's closed because of Covid-19. c'est la vie.
      Enjoy your beer.

Very cool looking game,.. been pondering to reinstall it also,.. but I already play to many games at the moment,.. perhaps later this summer.
I recently discovered the pics from "reveccamorikave" for this game and they are great and inspirational

The story is nice,.. they seem to be remnants from ceasar's army ??

Thanks. I'm using Rudy enb here. I like it, I still need to understand how to use it a little better.
Concerning Revve -- I posted this on her latest images: "Glad to see you back. I have to admit that your images have inspired me to return to FNV. Thank you for that." It seems we had the same impression.
Caesars Army? Maybe more like operatives. It will become clear(er) later.

I'm working my way through the effects in the mod. I managed to eliminate all of the many lines dealing with night vision and glare. I don't use that. But I can't figure out how to activate the PCC features -- CC: Gamma, etc. I am struggling through the code in enbeffect.fx, but can't figure it out. Do you know anything about that?

Nexus rules: Don't like it? Don't use it. Move along. Quietly.
It's not a political forum for needy, whiny, self-important posers who are desperate for attention. If my opinion offends you, either accept that free speech applies equally to everyone or shut up and I'll keep my opinion to myself. We can all be silently outraged together.
My opinion for what it's worth.
A second thought occurs. Social 'justice warriors' are the equivalent of new-age underground fascists. If you're not with us you're politically (SJW) incorrect and demonised. Is this not fascism? What tune would you like us to goose-step to?

Yeah, the nexus site has been a pretty open and friendly site for the 8-10 years that I've been here. Well, you know. I think you have been a member longer than me. Something has changed with the advent of the current wave of social upheaval in the US and around the world. As you suggest in your second thought, a movement has developed that has little tolerance or acceptance for any words or thoughts that are not "right think" or "right speak". It's a sad day for this little community and a potentially disastrous day for the world. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.

One mod recently published at FO4 actually said something like: comments criticizing the intent of this mod will not be tolerated and will be removed. I've been blocked so I can't check the actual wording. Oh, this is my post that was removed and got me completely blocked by the author: Wow. Such a fine example that shows you really care. I've always believed in free speech. I am very happy to see it vigorously supported here in the comment section. Thank you Elia. The mod itself promotes "No Peace", but I guess that's OK.

I also had my comment on another site removed. A Canadian said something negative about Pres. Trump. He's entitled to his opinion. I replied with something like: Yeah, but no one is better than Pres. Trudeau. That man is the king of socks. Seemed innocuous to me and kinda funny.

This is the world we live in. As Pogo (a '50s cartoon character) used to say We have met the enemy and he is us.

Clearly the poor snowflake's delicate and ineffably fragile sensibilities were shattered beyond any recovery or repair (referring to your posts that were so intolerably offensive). Poor baby.
You're more than welcome. I tend to adopt a policy of 'live and let live' until other 'people' adopt a policy of double standards. At that point, I tend to become as outraged as they are. Which is usually when I have something to say. If the Nexus is becoming that politically incorrect that a polite and relatively innocuous comment is considered intolerably offensive then the policies need to be re-examined, clearly stated, and unilaterally enforced with respect to all members. If not then the word hypocrisy seems highly appropriate.
Indeed we have met the enemy, and we are our own worst enemy in many ways.

The agenda? I'm curious now Caesar (of F:NV) was someone I had to despise, despite his Roman motif. All the cultures of those tribes he absorbed forcefully are lost. Excuse my late comment (many late sets too). I had to ghost endorse earlier and bookmark this for reading now. Got a baby kitty and she demands so much attention

Well, keep your curiosity piqued. Hardly late in commenting -- 4:30 and I'm still awake. I should be sleeping, but too keyed up about our trip tomorrow. Headed to the capital of Legion Land -- Flagstaff. Then on to Zion. May stop in Vegas on the way back and even Goodsprings. Haven't been there in years. Last time was with Bernt. Take care of your kitty -- so much fun having a kitten around. We have a new outdoor cat. She's almost friendly, but still a little wild streak in her.

I don't know the lore of FNV but, if you do continue the story, I will be interested to see how these two refugees make their way in the world.
(I'm also interested in the practical aspects of drinking coffee with those masks on. )

I will have to keep it in mind that not everyone has played FNV. Two factions: the New California Republic (NCR) and Caesars Legion fight for control of Hoover Dam -- electric power. Caesar lost the first battle, but did not retreat. The game allows you to play as one of these factions (or as a few other factions) to take Hoover Dam. In this post, I chose the option that the NCR won the second battle and killed Caesar.

Coffee. Too funny. That hadn't occurred to me, but I suppose they took their masks off.

Thank you. I took a week off to sulk about virtue signalling at FO4 nexus. But spent the time usefully, well as far as the past time of gaming goes, by getting FNV working.

And yeah, variety is the spice of life.

I had to google that phrase as I had never heard it before. So a bit like "My thoughts and prayers are with you" versus actually doing something constructive to help.

Oh no the SJW's have found the Nexus! Seriously games are about fun and escape and more. To see that people are making a big deal of stuff like this is a shame.
Honestly we shall ignore that and create to our hearts content.
There is a saying a senior soldier told me a while ago "When your down and feeling Blue, remember you joined us, we didn't join you"

Same can be said for Nexus.

I'm fine. just got irritated when a couple people blocked me and my comments were yanked. They weren't nasty or anything. Satirical maybe. Maybe ironic, but not terribly sarcastic. So I needed a break from FO4 and nexus.
