In honor of the upcoming V.2.0 Update for Simply Uncut - New Vegas, I release a teaser for Malpais Camp, an upcoming location with a small, short,  yet fun questline to undertake.

V.2.0 (Or, The Level Up Update), will feature:
New NCR NPCs
A custom Companion built off of a cut character.
Jack Wilson and his cut unmarked quest
Malpais Camp and a custom, short, fun questline.
New Areas to Vaults 24 and 74.
Cut Companion Remarks for when they are lit on fire during combat.
Multiple bug fixes to existing content.

      In my opinion, this update is probably gonna be my least favorite. There's just so much I wanted done but with the resources we had to work with (mostly on Malpais), we couldn't flesh everything out the way we wanted. We weren't originally gonna do quests for Malpais, but my logic is: If there's nothing to do there, no one is gonna visit it. We will have spent so much time on a cut location when no one is gonna visit it.

      Hence, custom quests.

      But that's just my personal opinion. Don't let me ruin your hopes. The Level Up Update is gonna be fun

      I'd just make a compatibility patch with the alpha, the name of the esm will always stay the same when we eventually release but a new compat patch will need to made in future as we're making major alternations.

      It'd be great to cooperate because this has potential and i don't wanna write it off because two malpais on the same side of the map just can't co exist :(

      I'd be open to cooperation. This project is nearing its end anyways so creating a patch and keeping it maintained won't be too much work. But I'd only create a patch when your project reaches its finalization.

      Play around with our alpha on a new save so you know what to expect when that time comes, the quality of work put in along with the new mineshaft interior and slave mining animations - ontop of C16's fantastic effort of malpais is phenomenal and would make a better stand-in when the time comes, do note when we reach a completion milestone on the mojave worldspace, any edits to land that side of the map would have to be erased through a patch to be compatible. The improvements to the legion questline in the main story (bug fixes and quality of life) and integration with the initial fort travel sequence are key features and that is why there is heavy incompatibility as well as the landscape changes.
