A mutated creature that I liked so much in Fallout 76. In New Vegas version, the honey swarm is formed with bigger versions of the honey bees. Also, the beehive that she carries on her back was made closer to its real life appearance.

Endorsed and encouraged. The fact that there really are desert honeybees make it fits the game too, lore-wise.

I wondered how are you going to handle the bee swarm? I imagined that a swarm type enemy isn't really something you could shoot or stab with normal weapons and requires energy weapons to deal with them. Maybe give them alot of DT and DR to simulate their non-conventional body and a script to make them take huge damage from fire weapons?

Oh please add honey as a high value commodity and a consumable that both heals and sate hunger as well!

Thank you DiamondBorne! . I'm glad you liked it.

I thought that the Honey Beast could be escorted by a party of Honey Bees, that would have a similiar behaviour as Cazadors or Bloatflys. I'm not very familiar with how enemy balance, dinamics or Scripts work for the moment, since my main focus has been recreating models. But all the insight and ideas you provide are appreciated.

With respect adding honey as a high value commodity, sure thing. I was thinking about creating beehives like the ones I saw in real life pictures. Those beehives could be looted to get honey, but would be heavily guarded by aggresive mutated bees. Also, the HoneyBeast itself would be a hard nut to crack, and one of the lootable items obtainable once is defeated will be honey.

I wish New Vegas was as popular as it was years ago, so that people like you, AnOneTwo, Someguy2000, Geonox, & many others would still get together to make awesome content...

    ... Great work, BTW!

  9. Was thinking how cool it would be to see this in New Vegas! Seems like something that would be roaming around Oasis or hidden in Zion Canyon.
