Does anyone else remember when Fallout first started ? Does anyone actually remember the story line to get where it is today ? I guess I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still kickin' this coil. Truly do hope Everyone is Well  !!!!!
1997 -- published by Interplay. It's still on my hard drive (I gave the CD away to a friend). Every now and then I fire it up for a little fun. The intro theme song was "Maybe" by the Ink Spots. It came with a manual and instructions. I think there may have been a map too.
Oh hell Cromwell ... Just teasing Laird !!! Ever so Good to hear from You !!!!! I was looking for my box set and darned if I can't find it !!! I've an installed version of all three games on another drive, but alas, it's not on my present game drive. I switched to an SSD and as it is it's running out of room. Unlike present games I can find an older hard drive with all of my distorted manipulations and it should be perfectly playable without reinstalling. But I'm thinking You are correct about the 'Ink Spots'. Have to dig through a stack of old hard drives and hope maybe one still works. But yeah, all of that aside, You too have played a big part in my modding endevours and for that I Thank You !!!!!
My first Fallout experience was before the game actually released, there was a sort of demo of part of Junktown on an Interplay collection CD I had bought for another game series. I knew then, even before playing it that I would be hooked.
HI'Ya Brigand !!! Odd how that works out. There are a lot of games that had been out for years and I never even knew they existed ... wasn't really big into internet. Was just as happy to play my single player games and was a bit irked that I could no longer just play anymore. Sign up, register, log in etc. It's still kinda messed up because what happens if s*** hits the fan and I can no longer log in to verify who I am and can't give a verification code to access what is perfectly legitimately bought and payed for ? Not a doomsayer or warmonger but what happens if there is an emp strike and all communication is struck down. Then I have tons of sh..tufff that will be rendered perfectly worthless. Even if I know hundreds of different ways of powering my pc up if something should happen. Well, I've tons of stuff that doesn't require an internet connection so I would still be entertained. But ... never mind, I'm just saying. Good to see You here, You've played a massive part in my modding endevours. MUCH Thanks as Always !!!!!
P.s. Thanks for the radio, You've pretty good taste in music !!!!!
I didn't play the first fallout until like 2014 but i did play fallout for the first time when i rented Fallout 3 from a store and loved it back in 2008. And welcome back by the way Anoxeron.
Hi'ya Jim !!! Yeah, when they came out I had 3 consoles including my trusty Atari. I didn't even play them until I purchased a box set containing all for pc, well after I started playing Fallout 3. But I had to finish them once I started playing them XD. But yeah, amazing how far gaming has come since their initial release. Good to hear from You, really glad You are still here. Me I've been working 50 to 60 hrs a week so I don't really have a lot of time for much else. Want to start modding again and have quite a few things on the back burner ... just recently started refreshing myself in G.E.C.K, Nifskope and Blender. The first two are like riding a bicycle, Blender on the other hand XD. Wish I could find a good tutorial for skinning meshes. Poses are one thing, animating meshes quite another. All that aside "Really Good to hear from You and Thanks as ALWAYS" !!!!!
I missed the first ones, initially I discovered Fallout when F3 came out (but since then, I've read up on them). Very cool shot and good to see you here, Lee.
So I guess that I have forgotten !!! I do Truly Miss Prensa and Pixelhate. When I have a minute outside of my mortal chaos I'm gonna toss a few modding tutorials from a couple of MASTERS !!!!! Now that think about I'm starting to remember when it no longer became Fun for others..
Myself, ...... I am Truly missing my Masters
Loving memory for my Dear Friends ................ Prensa and Pixelhate
