Thank you! . I'm glad you liked it. For the moment it's just an sketch, I'm getting experience in order to find a way to get it to work.

That lazy bag of bones, it's not like she needs to actually be mobile! (For anybody looking to concern troll, this is a joke. I live with someone who relies on a cane and wheelchair)

The only suggestion I have is to change those cigarettes for Med-X syringes, Jet inhalers, and/or other chems.

Ha ha ha, I know what you mean Brig . It must have been great to own a chair like that on the Wasteland. Reading the comments in another concept art for her (there are 3 available) they said that she was going to be originally in a wheel-chair, but they realized stars would pose a problem. So, they gave her a modified, floating Mr. Handy to use as a seat because it was awesome, but a bit distracting. I think it would have been great if they would have gone with that option, and perhaps that Mr. Handy would have not only served to her as a mere seat, but also as a companion and confident. They could even get some hilarious scenes, fighting to each other as wife and husband, or to gossip about the other NPCs. My God, so much potential here

In the other 2 sketches she gets to have some chems.

Yeah, though from a practical perspective, even if she did have such a seat I'm sure they would have been forced to trade or sell it for food or supplies. They only had the clothes on their backs and a working piece of tech like that would probably be worth some caps, let alone make the group a very appealing target to raiders.

While Bethesda is great at world building, they quite often mess up when it comes to practical realism and have a proven track record for contradicting themselves or the established canon/lore. In the same game where a ghoul kid was trapped in a fridge for over 200 years and would have starved to death, there's a ghoul farming community growing mutated cranberries in a swimming pool so saying that ghouls don't need to eat, which is also contradicted by Harland in New Vegas at Repcon eating radroaches... Don't get me started. What I'm trying to say is that I think NOT giving her a special, technologically fantastic chair was the right decision.

You've got a point, it wasn't practical considering what the character was supposed to be and her socioeconomic level. It's just that those concept art sketches are fabulous!!!. I love them . They make me imagine a lot of background scenarios. Now you've aroused my curiosity about the reasons others were cut.

Perhaps Alistair Tenpenny should get the chair. He doesn't need it yet, but is a luxury he can afford, just for fun. Doesn't he own the most luxurius place in the Capital Wasteland?. He lives in the last floor of a very big hotel and is heavily guarded. Another candidate?. Tiaret Van Graff, the matriarch and head of the Van Graff family. Maybe Cook Cook or Motor runner's grannie/mama?. I mean, either she is a very ill or very domineering lady that happens to be related to a Rich/powerful character, who loves/fears her a great deal.

Anyways, I wish there would have been some way to get this chair to be seen in the game, no matter who gets to own it. And of course, that would have been achivable for the player.

If I may make a suggestion, wouldn't it have been cool if the Mister Handy chair was the remains of Codsworth? It goes with Bethesda's misunderstanding that 200 years is a long time. Imagine that you exit the vault and Codsworth has moved on and is essentially cohabitating with this old woman who is now a trusted partner of his? They could even have some banter having known each other for a while. This could also be a much better and seamless transition from your emergence from Sanctuary to getting involved with the Minutemen plotline. They could also cut the entire dumb (in my opinion) plot of her being psychic with drugs. Instead perhaps she gets the knowledge from Codsworth? Just an idea on what could've been.

@MisteryMachinex, I like your idea about Codsworth. I felt bad about him at the start of FO4. He's a robot, but he seemed part of the family and has to be left behind. It would have made sense he moved on as you mentioned, and maybe this lady arrive to the Sanctuary as a young lady and they became companions. With time she inevitably aged, and as a proof of frienship Codsworth became her chair. The addiction that gave her insight I felt was a copy of the weird kind in New Vegas.

You seem to make these quality models all the time, yet they never get posted as mods that can actually be used? May I ask why you don't further implement them publicly?

The main reason is because: 1) They're not finished yet or 2) are not meant to be released in a single mod.

In the first case there's always a detail that needs to be polished : some clipping, a hand of paint here, a missing item there, a collission mesh that needs some touch. I normally try to get the assets as closer as possible to completion, but after a while I get tired working with the same asset, so I switch temporarily to another project. I mod for fun , so when I start to get bored or seduced with another idea, sometimes I put one project in stand-by to try another one. That way I get to enjoy with the other project, while I figure out how to finish the first one. In fact, it took a lot of time to take the project FLVJOD-Freeside to a stage where, even not finished yet, was good enough to be shared. And it got posted, same as other projects.

Ah okay, that makes sense. Still though, your work is so good, it seems a shame to let it go to waste. I think it would be cool if you would someday consider just uploading stuff you never quite finished as a resource for others to finish or build upon.

Is it possible to make facial animations for her? I mean, looks like she has mr gutsy skeleton, right?

I guess so. If Mr. Handy is gonna be hoovering while she's sitting on top of him, if his eyes are gonna move a bit, and if she also is gonna be moving her facial expressions to be able to speak with the Player or another NPC, it may require some scripting, rigging, animations and a custom skeleton, since you're dealing with a NPC and a Creature joined/linked at the same time. With more time and experience I'll figure out a way to get it to work .

Pd. At first was rigged to a Mr. Handy, but weird things happened because it needs a custom skeleton.
