Often you pick up a note that says "The note reveals the location of SECRET BASE, and you mark it on your map."

I thought it would be interesting to try to have the player decipher an actual map texture in order to find a location, a'la Skyrim and 76's Treasure Maps.

The pip-boy unfortunately displays the images a bit tiny, but I think with smart design maps could still be decipherable.

Is it being different for the sake of being different? Kinda, but I think it would be an interesting mix-up for the gameplay.
