      Actually, I had to start wearing at least combat helmets on the Courier because with BLEED, locational DT enabled in JIP NVSE and no hitscan it was happening far too often to die just because a random raider was lucky with their caravan shotguns or spray'n'pray... Companions are flagged as essential even on hardcore so they can keep their look unobstructed.

   I especially like the Hello Kitty PA.
   I wonder if raiders shoot those street signs, see that bullets pass through and think "hmm, decent armor" :­p

      Well, street signs aren't flagged as "small transparent" so they can stop even .50 BMG... Somehow.
