      Ah! You hit the "Magic Threshold". Have had that happen to me--usually it's the landscape textures that start going bonkers first.

   I'm installing everything manually editing load order with Notepad C+ and checking for conflicts with FNVEdit. It's the only way to be safe.

   Tried toggling your archive invalidation off and then on again? the other thing that causes it could be too many esps, the game can fall apart with 137 or fewer.

      Yeah, i did the archive invalidation thing, it might be the esp problem more than likely.

      I get the esp thing, I'm fine with 137 but if I enable a 138th then the game falls apart.

      I just uninstalled the mods i activated before this happened and it turned out to be the esp problem. so i guess it's all good now. i honestly know how many mods i actually had installed till i checked lol just gotta keep that in mind now. thanks for the help Jim.

   I know the pain all too well. I blew up my FOMM setup last time and finally migrated to MO2 and started from scratch. Now I can occasionally play sometimes lol.

      , i use vortex and i have more problems with that than i did using nexus mod manager. Either way i'm not looking forward to what i'm gonna have to go thourgh. haha.
