After the second battle of Hoover Dam, the NCR formed a military element which was intended to perform clandestine, top-secret unconventional warfare. Guided by a man famously known as 'The Courier', NCR carefully picked certain individuals from their ranks and put them through rigorous training that makes them surpass the Rangers. After a small few operators made it through, they were grouped and formed as a special unit called 'Alpha Company'.
