I hated that place. While at the same time getting caught up in what - in my opnion- has to be the deepest and best told story of all the DLCs. Your pics bring all that to life again. And your girl really carries an expression befitting the place - and Vera's story

Thanks, Bernt! I, too, think this is the best story in the game, involving some of the most interesting characters as well, hence why it's my favourite DLC. Even after all these years I enjoy another trip to the Sierra Madre - guess I can't let go.

Glad you think my pics did it justice. Emily has been quite touched by Vera's story, whom she saw merely as a ghostly shape in the fountain at first, then Dean told her a few more things until the whole story was revealed in the casino. Even though Vera had a hand in her misfortunes, as did everyone else involved, in the end she was very much a victim of the Madre. I think Emily sees her as the essence of the Sierra Madre: beautiful but rotten at the core, her hope of "beginning again" dashed.

She suffered a terrible fate and you've conveyed that well.

Yeah, it was very messed up, even though she wasn't completely innocent in all this. Thanks!

Yeah the Suites are perhaps THE creepiest location in the DLC, with Vera's holograms replaying her last moments over and over and then finding her skeleton, still in her dress, surrounded by Med-X syringes.

And the apartment just has this sad, lonely quality to it, with the large windows and red light beams...which I tried to get into the shots.

    Thanks!
