After months of development, Factions Reloaded - Legion V2.8 is finally done!

This mod is now FULLY VOICED thanks to some very wonderful voice actors who have volunteered their time, and many new Merchants and voiced NPCs are now available for you to speak and trade with - assuming you maintain good terms with the Legion!

V2.8 Update notes:

  • Factions Reloaded - Legion is now fully voiced!
  • Raises volume of all Marcus Tiberius voice lines to align closer with the Vanilla game.
  • Reworks all of Quintus Fulvius's lines (on Cottonwood Cove docks) and he now wears Explorer armor. Now is fully voiced and lip synced, thanks to @BilboBaggman.
  • New named Legion Vexillarius, Vexillarius Cicero at Legion Camp Gamma (near Legion Safehouse). Fully voiced and lip synced, thanks to @Baileyclan / @NoahVoiceActs on Twitter.
  • Removes all generic Legion Merchants and replaces them with named, fully voiced NPCs with unique backstories and specialties. Most of these Legion merchants will require accepted or higher legion rep, but some (like Cash, the general merchant or Vet Tullius) only require neutral reps.
  • Weaponmaster - Veteran Tullius (Legion Camp Beta), replaces unnamed Legion Blacksmith. Fully voiced and lip synced, thanks to @WasteLord.
  • Legion Butcher - Veteran Flaminius (Legion Camp Beta), replaces unnamed Legion Merchant. Fully voiced and lip synced, thanks to @BilboBaggman.
  • Arizona Merchant - Cash Whitaker (Legion Camp Aqua), replaces unnamed Legion Merchant. Fully voiced and lipsynced thanks to @GhettoDiplomat, creator of the Cook Companion Mod https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/86274
  • Armorer - Decanus Vorenus (The Fort), replaces unnamed Legion Merchant. Fully voiced and lipsynced thanks to @WasteLord.
  • Legion Herbalist / Healer - Aurora Medella (Cottonwood Cove), replaced unnamed Legion Merchant. Fully voiced and lipsynced thanks to @Vacajan.
  • Fort Watch Guard / Decanus Vorenus Bodyguard - Antonio (The Fort). Fully voiced and lipsynced thanks to @BilboBaggman.
  • Fixes a dialogue bug where generic Legionaries would sometimes repeat the Great Khan line if you use a Legion Bark Fix mod.
  • Changes Legion Speculatus to correctly be "Brave" so he will join other Legionaries in battle.
  • Adds more Legionaries to No Mans Land to even out the battle near Nelson / Forlorn Hope.
  • Adds additional packages and idles to NPCs, continuing work of making legionaries look busy in their camps and not just standing around.
  • Heavily nerfed Billy and his gang of junkies. Cut their health roughly in half, and now they will use more reasonably leveled weapons.
  • Nerfed the Mercenary snipers further. Lowered health to be a challenge, but a bit more reasonable for the area. Leader now uses a more reasonable weapon.
  • Both enemies from Billy's gang and Mercenary snipers in Searchlight will now level with the player.
  • If you end up killing Billy and the junkies before you start the quest, it is now still completable. Just start the quest from Quintus normally and follow the marker into the camp. Once you enter Billy's tent and confirm he is dead, the quest will progress normally.
  • Legion Praecisus units now sometimes use hunting rifles.
  • Updated Nelson legionaries to no longer respawn, so that if you take the town for the NCR they will not re-appear.
  • Cottonwood Cove Overlook fight happens much slower. Deserters walk up very slowly in a patrol so the player has time to reach the overlook before the fight begins.
  • Adds torches, campfires, smoke trails, and more light to most of the new Legion camps. Should be much easier to spot them from a distance now, and less out-of-place for people who use darker night mods.
  • Recruit Legionaries in Camp Beta will no longer do pushups forever when you start attacking the camp (there is still a delay sometimes due to the game's animation needing to complete, but they should join fights).
  • Many of the legionaries not on guard duty will sleep at night and new idles and furniture were added to the lower part of the camp (Camp Beta).
  • Aulius Gabinius should stay in his tent now and not wander off unless in combat.
  • Improved navmesh of Legion Camps and preferred pathing upgraded.
  • Renamed Deathclaw Riverside Nest to Deathclaw Promontory to match the previously unmarked location name.
  • Changed helmet of Legion Scutarius units (at Deathclaw Promontory) to look stronger.
