Is Mariposa compatible with Tale of Two Wastelands?

Yes, but you must start the game in Mojave Wasteland. Starting in Capital Wasteland is not supported and will result in undesired behavior.

Super mutant body collapses into itself.

This happens because of missing or incorrectly installed requirements. Make sure you installed necessary requirements. Do NOT use Vortex or any automated installers to install requirements; install them manually.

xNVSE does not support Epic Games version, you will have to use Epic Games patcher to downgrade your game.

Where can I find the armors?

There are 4 ways to acquire super mutant equipment:

  • You can purchase some super mutant equipment from vendors. Glen at Jacobstown or Nocturne at Black Mountain.
  • You can loot armor from dead super mutants.
  • You can find armor inside containers around mutant occupied areas such as Black Mountain or Jacobstown. By default containers respawn every 3 in-game days, so keep checking back to find new equipment. The higher your Luck stat, the higher the chance of finding rare super mutant armor.
  • Faction armors can only be acquired from safehouses. You must earn the trust of designated faction to gain access.

Some equipment such as hats, helmets, masks, eyeglasses and other accessories can be used normally if there's a label "Super Mutant Apparel" on them.

Can I use super mutant animations from Menace of the New West mod?

Yes. You will have to extract animation files to meshes/creatures/smspinebreakerplayer folder.

Movement speed is wonky.

That's a mod conflict issue. You have another mod that is causing the movement to glitch out.

Can I use the faces from Menace of the New West mod?

Of course! You can change your face type and skin color when choosing your race at the start of the game.

Does this mod change voice lines?

Yes, Mariposa uses spliced vanilla voice lines. They are naturally sounding and fully lip synced.

My character is randomly turning invisible inside interiors.

This is a known issue; download the optional invisible character fix.

Can you make compatibility patch for a mod?

I cannot make compatibility patches for every mod out there, nor do I guarantee that I will make one. You will have to ask the author of the conflicting mod to make a patch for Mariposa.

Can you play as a Nightkin?

Yes you can.

Is there a list of armor that mutants can wear?

Yes, check out visual graph of each armor.

Are super mutant texture mods compatible with Mariposa?

Yes. Mariposa uses vanilla textures (with some exceptions) so texture replacer mods will work.

Does this mod add reactions and conversations about you being a super mutant?

Yes, certain NPC characters will react toward you being a super mutant. Some quest lines have been changed to reflect you being a mutant.

I cannot use certain weapons.

Some weapons cannot be used, because there are no animations for them.

The game keeps telling me that there are enemies nearby.

This is intentional for Nightkin players. Open your PipBoy and look through each Perk you have.

How to acquire salvaged super mutant power armor?

You can *randomly* find them throughout containers and chests near mutant encampments. Keep looking!
