You didn't think I'd be completely inactive, did you? I do work on Pandemic still, just not at the pace I usually do. So today's article will be about The Lair. Your ultimate home, an underwater palace, if you will. Suitable for the finest of megalomaniacs.

What will it feature, you ask? You've seen a couple of the goodies in the many showcases and sneak previews. But, there's more. Firstly, I mentioned that the water will be highly dangerous now. But that doesn't mean there isn't a way to fix it. You'll have your own personal underground tunnels that leads from the edges of the shore, to your lair, in all directions. Meaning no need to swim and eat stimpaks like an addled drug addict.

I'm also looking into setting up a submarine base, since the submarine is my third favourite vehicle. First one being tractors. I love tractors. Second one are pirate ships. Because, hey, pirate ship, amirite?

Now, that's not all. I'm hoping to connect the lair to various other buildings you can make and/or capture somehow. As they will be joined by a teleporter system. You can even set up outposts in DLC locations in the future, and teleport to and from them at the press of a button. It's a surprisingly easy thing to accomplish. Hard part is just making said locations.

So, your empire will span not only in the regular wasteland, but also in the world, basically.

Takes a lot of hard work to get to that point, though. I'm also looking in to making an artifact system. That lets you collect rare objects to furnish your wasteland. Things like Hitler's Coffee Cup, that can be used to drink the finest coffee. But only coffee, though. No juice allowed. Along with The Jesus Toilet. A toilet said to have been used by Christ himself. As a result, drinking from it will heal your crippled limbs. Just like in real life. You can also get your hands on Lincoln's Hat, like in the old game. Which will allow capitalists to free the slaves, and instead just horribly segregate them and then control them through a rigged credit system that will eventually enslave them through debt and allow to rapidly expand the slave economics through a self managing autono-
