Fallout New Vegas

So getting this started and trying out the articles system as a new method of telling you guys what I'm working on.

I've been compiling a list of some of the known bugs with PN, and working on fixes for them. Some are easy, some are big, some are small, I'll try to fix most of them. I've also been looking at some of the more requested additions, and will be adding a few of them as well.

For a list of things I've fixed so far:
CORE:

  • Stealth boy reporting incorrect stats.
  • Crosshair fix for Run N Gun perk.

CYBERWARE:
  • EMP and HF implants added to both holdout lists.

EQUIPMENT:
  • Combat shotgun ejecting wrong casings (this can't really be fixed, as there does not exist a 20Ga casing for ejecting.)
  • Crowbar having too great a range.
  • Wild Wasteland Alien encounter script having a bug and causing a CTD (rare, but has been reported. Script was wrong and has been fixed).

REBALANCE:
  • Increased Level Cap limit to 100.
  • Fixed the game settings to not be overridden by PN scripts if set to Vanilla values.


As for new features added by this series here, I've got some ideas for new implants, which I will be working on, as well as experimenting with some ideas to see what might work for some cool bonus features. I have also added the Charge! perk, which has been requested numerous times. The perk works fully with the the cross hair system, so sprinting will have a serious impact on your ability to aim. Don't expect to actually be able to shoot anything. This can be mitigated somewhat via perks.

That's pretty much it so far. Keep an eye on this page, as I plan on using the articles more often to keep you guys up to date on what I'm working on and for you to give feedback to me on those ideas.
