About this image

This is a gif image that will cycle two images to show what i am thinking of putting into my TINA mod.
What it is, is an action DoF/Blur type of effect.
In short, when u would equip a weapon from TINA, each time you would go to aim the screen would focus on aiming area and blur out the surrounding screen.
I like the effect and think it goes well with "true scopes" from my mod, also it looks pretty cool in 3rd person view.
What do you think? Please comment I could really use the feedback.

PS 3rd person view gif is on way too

@fLokii ah i see what you mean, so in order to do this with standard weapons that come with the game, you would have to make them all see threw.

Well seems in general you don't disapprove peeps, so guess nxt version of TINA will have optional tunnel vision esp or however it should be called

@SimonTrent: You have a working scope in TINA, that's a mod i made. i quoted cause it's not a real scope but like in picture, u can aim through it instead of the scope overlay the game delivers by default.

I like the idea. Shooting traps, I had a hard time learning to keep both eyes open, in order to catch the target as soon as possible -and follow it through without conciously aiming. Still everything became a blur outside of the target -and not only because of the movement. Thumbs up from me :-)

Yeah, I wouldn't expect anty sane person to go through with the first method.

About the second method; if it's being applied via a script you could check the FOV of the current weapon before applying it. Project Nevada uses that method for it's variable zoom scopes. If you release it as a seperate esp, I'll probably play about with it myself, might finally make something worth releasing.

you quote "true scopes" i searched that on the nexus but comes up with nothing, is this a new mod, cuase i could really go for this on all scoped weapons, maybe the veiw just zoomed in a tiny bit more, but all in all, i want it +1

@jmenaru: Glad you like, and u can take off the scope if u want to fight at shorter distance, that lowers the zoom.

@minngarm: Some nice info there that i had no clue about, just like the visuals lol. A good point making it optional.

@stuart1502: Vote noted About making it for all weapons, there are two ways to go about it. One i could mdoify each weapon so that when u have it it would have the effect, or two make it a global effect whenever u aim, weapon or no. So my prob is with the first way- a lot of clicking in geck and some extra scripting plus makes weapons most probably incompatible with any other mod that changes them. Second way.. the effect is always on.. thinking some people might dislike that.
So for now I'll limit it to TINA(probably as an optional esp) and we'll see how it goes.

that looks awesome though maybe a less zoomed in version when aiming would be better?

Tunnel vision, is something that is "trained out" of you in military service. However this effect is quite common amongst civilian and even less adaptable military personnel. So I would say it has some realism too it. However I would suggest it being a lower gun/energy weapon side effect that is reduced as you train the skill/s higher.

Either way you take it, it is a nice feature to have as an optional for those who wish to use it.

Really can't think of any eason not to have this. Makes it seem more like you're focused on what you're aiming at/about to kill. Make that yes 2, no 0.

TBH, now that I've seen this, I want it on every weapon in the game. Seperate mod, maybe?
