    Good work so far, I think you heard the one with the tiles already too much!
    One advice though: I always go well with creating a weathered/grungy look by adding textures from google pic search like e.g. this one http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs29/f/2008/122/2/2/Grunge_Texture_by_struckdumb.jpg
    (search phrase "Grunge Texture") on a new layer and setting the blending method/layer options to e.g. "Soft Light" (best result in most cases). Other belnding methods also work well, sometimes after lowering the opacity a bit to make it more subtle.

    I agree with Bernt, dunno if the font is meant to be readable but it's nigh on impossible to read in my opinion

    Odd that it comes from me, I know :-) But, I think you overdid the effects. Especially the tiles. My guess is, that you want a sort of weathered effect. That was my first impression. But looking closer, the tiles are too dominant a feature for that -at least IMHO.
