   That's the normal T-51b armour, not the BoS variant. According to Operation Anchorage the US Army uses T-51b armour. I'm not good at Fallout lore though.

   According to The Vault, the plasma rifle was created for the US Army shortly before the Great War, though perhaps it never finished development before the bombs fell, I don't know.

   Nice, but the states didn't have plasma tech like that before the great war, the enclave developed that after the war.
