About this image

I've been listening to Genesis. Silly, I suppose, but I remembered the bench and the grass at Bond's Mohave Grande. So what the heck.

It's always been Ethyl...

But I remembered a voice from the past;
"Gambling only plays when you're winning"...

When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench,
I can always hear them talk.
Me, I'm just a lawnmower you can tell me by the way I walk.

We're still travelling, so I may not have internet for the next few. Santa Fe tonight or may Las Vegas, New Mexico.

@janswin. I figured you would remember this one. Gentle Giant, certainement. Check this out. My take on Marcus before the FEV tanks.

@ Marthos. Yes, and we're all just a bit cuckoo.

@ HT. Memories indeed. I remember recording several of their albums onto cassette from a friends collection.

@ Jim. Amazing, the bikini clad gals at the pool are probably not heavily armed. I'll have to add Warzones this time.

@ Lee. Yep, 1997. I still have FO1 on my hard drive. I played FO2 and Tactics not too long ago.

@ Bernt. Thanks, and you as well. Just a few unfinished chapters in FNV that are worth a second look. And I thought I knew most of S. King's stories. I just read the synopsis. Gruesome. GP is the bigger King fan.

    @ Slater:

@ FBC: Thanks, Pat. Bonds123 always has colorful mods. I thought about doin this one "fuzzy" like the album cover, but the umbrellas made me change my mind.

Cormell, this photo is beautiful on so many levels. Aesthetically and colorfully I love it, but it moves beyond that creating a many levelled metaphor of culture, civilization and working within nature. Great photo!

On a side note, I sure was worried about you with your long silence. I'm very glad to see you still kicking!

Post Script: Wow! I didn't see the guy sleeping on the bench! The metaphor compounds! Bravo!

If you have Warzones installed that place becomes far less peaceful and not the kind of place you'd want to visit, I had to install turrets to keep the bad guys away https://puu.sh/xMwHk/b9f763fa8b.jpg.

Fantastic album from them, with crazy lyrics that do make some sense if you think about them long enough. If I'm correct " Harold the Barrel" is also on this album, wich is ( in a crazy, funny way) a favorite song from them to. Did you ever listen to Gentle Giant,.. these guys are pretty brilliant to,...

I do think you captured that sentence very well, with that same otherwordly vibe to it,..
